Hypotheticals are what this board is built on. And yes, if Peyton Mannings offense this year was paired with the '85 defense we would be undefeated.

This year's O with the '05 D would probably leave us with only one loss. And it would be a glorious thing to watch

Becaues it was just last year. If Urlacher had been signed, Marinelli retained as DC and had a lack of injuries on defense, the 2013 Bears defense would be just like that 2012 group. It's a hypothetical that could have very easily come to fruition. The 85 Bears defense would have never been paired with Peyton Manning.
