Especially when the old boss says you won't find a job that starts off paying better than what I was making (which was dogshit, might as well got paid in peanuts). Nothing more satisfying that burning a bridge you never wanted to cross in the first place.
Yeah..Like they were doing you a favor letting you bust your ass for them for shit wages...Good man!

Especially when the old boss says you won't find a job that starts off paying better than what I was making (which was dogshit, might as well got paid in peanuts). Nothing more satisfying that burning a bridge you never wanted to cross in the first place.

I am pretty sure in today's society its just a given that work is only recognized/rewarded once someone quits..... I am pretty sure I could get another hefty raise if I find another job offer and either take it or get a counter offer, but until then nothing I do will be recognized or rewarded anymore than the minimum

No doubt. I was in a terrible job. I haven't started the new one just yet, but even if it's as bad, at least I'm being compensated fairly well lol.
