Hey, you've got your defensive playbook listed as the Saints, but you've got four linemen and three linebackers listed. New Orleans doesn't have a single 4-3 set in its playbook.

Let me know if you want to change it.

our instructions were to use a team so this seems like a discussion you need to have with WCL and/or Lance

Okay, that's odd, they played 4-3 as their "base" defense this year. Anyway, maybe it was the scheme change and Madden doesn't update playbooks. I looked at your list, and I'd like to play the Multiple Defense. In this regard, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to put Chris Clemons as the back up LOLB and Joplo Bartu as a backup MLB, and Sharrif Floyd as the backup DE as well as keeping them in their roles as starters in their natural positions, that I listed above. Thank you.

Ok I'm confused now. Is it done by team playbook or by scheme?

It's actually both mick. I'm assuming posters will want to go with the same base as the team they choose. In Fisch's case, I'll use his team's D but a 4-6 base which is a bad idea IMO but that's up to him.

Seacrest/WCL, looks like my DEs are switcherooed. Can you swap them? Justin Smith is RDE.

thanks!

They had Rob Ryan this year. Most of their plays were run out of a 3-3-5, but their base was a 3-4.

I can change it to multiple, but I don't think RTB is going to be setting backups. You can ask him about it, since he's the one setting up the sim.

LOL, it's alright. The multiple is fine.

Can I actually change my offensive playbook...Just realized Scott Chandler probably won't be able to pull off the kind of plays Jimmy Graham does...

Give me the Green Bay Packers offensive playbook.

I'm sorry to bother you mods for this, but on second thought can I just use the 4-3 Tampa 2 defense on Madden, even if the game itself still refers to it as Classic C-2? It really is the Tampa 2 system as a whole - (Cover-1 Robber, C-2, C-3, C-4, & Man Under) & not just a classic Cover 2 defense. To go along with it's 4-3 Stack & Under, I believe it has a 3-4strong/under, 3-3-5, 2-4-5, 1-5-5 to go along with it's normal Nickel formation, plus has a 3-2-6, FLAT 4-3 package in the Dime, to go with it's straight up form..lastly I think its still has the 3-Deep Quarters package also. After looking & remembering whats in Madden Playbooks, I actually like the No Franchise applicable systems on both sides of the ball better than the plays designated to specific teams.

If you guys are ok with it, can you switch my defense to the Tampa 2 system that Madden still refers to as Cover 2?
