I think davis should have gotten it....just saying if they are going to give it to a wing player I felt tony allen is the best wing defender in the league.

Wasn't Allen hurt a lot this year? That may have had something to do with it as well. I don't really have an issue with Leonard over Allen though if we're talking wings. That's just me though. I know you <3 the Grizz lol.

he missed a couple weeks at the end of the season, which im sure did hurt him. TA is a beast on the defensive end, I have a feeling hes the guy most wing scorers least like seeing D them up. the reality is leonard is a better overall player and much more popular and these things are a bit of a popularity contest

He only played in 63 games this year apparently. Leonard played in 64. Guess that didn't matter a ton. Leonard put up better defensive stats for whatever that's worth. Popularity is another huge factor and Leonard definitely wins in that aspect. Even before the Finals last year he was being touted as San Antonio's new superstar. In any case, Tony Allen is still a defensive beast. He plays a much more in your face style than Leonard.
