I admittedly don't watch college so I want to wait and see him play some summer league. I don't mind the pick. He was projected higher, and I saw some comps to Monroe.

I hope this means that the Bulls are looking to trade one of Gibson/Noah/Gasol. I still think all 3 have decent value. Gibson and Noah need to go though. Thibs ran those two into the ground and it is probably time to sell on them before their value drops even more. I know Gibson is coming off of injury, but it is not a major injury. Noah is an expiring contract and has value as a leader to a lot of team.

It should be interesting to see what the Bulls do to finish out the off-season.

Idc the 76ers are the worst run franchise in the NBA and one of the worst run in pro sports. I feel bad for their fans. Apparently they said **** small ball we're playing big ball. All they draft is big guys.

I mean...Okafor just kinda fell in their lap. I have to imagine they were going for Russell before the Lakers took him. Maybe they look to move Embiid (unlikely given injury status) or Noel to make room. Or perhaps they run twin towers and just suck for another year and look to move one for another piece after using their next 9000 1st rounders.

yeah Sixers just kinda got stuck with Embiid and Okafor

really the other worthy option there was Mudiay and he would be a terrible fit aswell

funny thing is 20-30 years ago teams lusted to have a situation like the sixers

I could corner stone a new system with Embiid and Okafor all day. Embid is a traditional back to the basket stand and defend Center. Okafor can be a scoring PF. One defends, one scores. Both are long and tall. You can play a nasty 3-2.

Melo appears to be unhappy in New York after the draft. Any chance we can pull a Melo for Noah Gibson Dunleavy trade
I'll give it a 0% chance. That'd be pretty sweet though.

BPA all day. Okafor was by far the best player and therefore the best asset they could add to their team. I don't like the way he tanks but I like the way he drafts.

the funny thing is Frank was a hair away from Steve Franics'n the Hornets...he dissed their fans and didn't work out for them supposedly...so basically they reached for a guy that didn't even want to play there

Holy shit, I been drinking but I just read an article that the Celtics offered somewhere around 6 draft picks to the Charlotte Hornets for the 9th pick. they wanted Justice Winslow. It was going to be combo of future picks with picks in the draft. WTF? How does the Hornets not take the deal? Frank Kaminsky. Really? I watched this guy play and he could be an OK NBA player but in no way is he a game changer. Not even close. He is soft and game is not that great. What would y'all have done? Best part, they didn't even take Justice Winslow which mark my words will be a very good pro in the NBA.
