Hope the Hawks can pull one out tonight, but it would be perfect for the Cavs to get an extra couple days of rest
Is it me or does Cleveland look better without Irving and Love?

Probably because it is all Lebron now.
Their defense looks leagues better.. their offense is all LeBron drives then kicks it out.

You'd think defenses would adjust to just let LeBron score 50 every night while shutting down everyone else instead of allowing all these open perimeter shots.

I guess you gotta give credit to the Cavs role players for shooting lights out. I guess it's no surprise their defense is much better as Dellavedova and Thompson are much better defenders than their superstar counterparts. So they've essentially gotten better on defense without sacrificing a lick of offense because they're shooting so well. Good deal for them.

Regardless of this series, which is taking a monumental effort by Lebron just to win games, I don't see any conceivable way that the Cavs beat the Warriors in the Finals. The Warriors have great D to go with the best O in the league, and a deep bench. The Cavs perimeter shooting is not going to be lights out against them. I'd say it would be Warriors in 5 or even possibly a sweep.

I don't know why teams don't just adjust, play tight to the perimeter shooters and just say "Go on, beat us Lebron"

Put your best defender on him and make him drop 50. Lebron isn't a pure scorer.

Another team lays down and dies before Lebron and his band of shooters.

Plz win tomorrow GS so you can beat the crap out of the Cavs with as much rest as possible.

MJ, Wilt, Magic, and Kareem.
MJ is still considered the greatest of all-time. 6 time Finals MVP. 6-0 Finals record, set numerous NBA Finals records, scoring records as well. 5 time MVP.

Wilt set numerous records, one of which will never be broken (100 points). Never really much of a winner in a sense as he only won NBA title in his career. Books you read about him make him seem like he was more concerned with records than winning.

Magic went to the Finals 9 out of his 12 seasons in the NBA. He has 3 Finals MVPs and 3 Regular Season MVPs. Magic benefited from being on a stacked Lakers team (Kareem and Worthy and worthy players Bryon Scott and Michael Cooper to add)

Kareem dominated the game in the 1970's and due to the stacked roster of the Lakers was able to play for 20 NBA seasons. He won 6 MVPs and 2 Finals MVPs. Appeared in 10 NBA Finals, winning 6 of them.

------------

LeBron James has played as long as Magic Johnson at this point and surpassed him in playoff minutes and games this season. He has less Finals appearances than Magic (but has been on way worse teams).. He has appeared in 7 NBA Finals in 12 years, but his teams have only won 2 of them. He has won 4 MVPs and 2 Finals MVPs.

If anyone gets kicked off, I'd say its Magic for LeBron. Similar players in a way as well.

What a shitty playoffs. The 2 teams I have been hoping gets knocked out all year are the 2 that will likely meet in the finals..... I don't want to, but I guess I will be hoping the Dubs win it all, and I think they can. They can out shoot the Cavs all day.
