Just picked one up a couple months back.
My Dad had a 78 Z28 and I love pony cars.
Wanted to give feedback.... great car.
Total fun to drive... solid platform, great power with acceptable mileage.
Small for its power plant and back seat is a briefcase shelf.
But could put people back there in emergency.
Great car... hats off to GM. The Caddy ATSV Alfa frame is awesome.
Very happy about this buy... waited a long time for the right one (used) to show up.
Liked the Mustang but glad I waited. The Camaro is much more bang for buck.
I drive to Tucson from Phoenix one a month and very comfortable car.
Great on highway with shift select... no down shift, just smooth on passed.
Audio is great but will upgrade... 2SS has a better one but not worth money.
I bought 1SS for motor, drive train, weight and performance... Leather, Nav and audio isn't worth 8 grand to me.

PS: I enjoy performance cars... I know many of you drive a 8K camary for 15 years.

I've been admiring the new Camaro since they brought them back. I used to have a 67...my favorite year for the old ones. It was so simple to work on the old ones, but things change.

No doubt you'll enjoy this car, have fun with it.

My cousin paid $6,700 for a brand new show room 69 Yenko 427/435...
They all laughed at him for paying that price.
He still owns that one owner numbers matching car.
With the original window sticker... and title.
They ain't laughing now.

15 year old Camry? You don't know me, it's a 17 year old Rav4.

I'm no gear head but that looks/sounds like very cool car.

Congrats and enjoy.

Camaro is on my list of car to get if/when I sell the vette. I'm going to miss it but sick of kids fighting on who gets to ride with me. I need those extra seats!

There are no extra seats... not that anyone can fit in.
They just keep you in coupe vs sports car for insurance.
At a cost of 200 pounds.

Congrats.

My wife drives a '17 1SS. The Alpha platform is properly sorted. Car gained serious power with bolt ons/flex fuel and a tune.

Yea it's a wonderful starting platform.
3,600 LBS with a 6.2 V8, C7 trans and rear.
I'm excited....

Way more potential than my CTSV....
Already makes the same times naturally aspirated...
Granted the CTSV is a different beast.

I don't know what any of that means so here is the non gear head translation:

"I got a new toy and I'm winning at life!"

Monster is a good man, he worked hard and took care of everybody else first, now he deserves an old guy toy. Old guys that worked hard all deserve the toys they have earned.

Technically a used toy.
Still paying tuitions!
Family first, then future, then a toy.

Started long before them.
Cars are stupid high.
Looking for one for my kid and I just shack my head.
I don't know how it got this bad.
I paid 600 for my first car.
A POS is now 7 times that.... rediculous.

I had a 2010- 6.2 6 speed. Loved the car except for one tiny annoyance- the window sat too high.
I am an open window, elbow on the door guy, and with as low as the seat sat and as high as the window was, It felt like I was getting rotator cuff damage!

I went a little over the top on exhaust, did headers back, SLP- sounded great when accelerating, but a little excessive.
The guy I sold the car to redid the exhaust with a more subtle system and it sounds fantastic now.
