That would be something if he were there.

I hope we get one of Myles Jack or Kendall Fuller.

Both 1st round talents that will fall due to injury.

Ideal for me this season would be to get the #1 overall pick and trade down to pick up an extra 2016 2nd and a 2017 1st.

In my original post in this thread I said Jordan Jenkins and he would be a phenomenal second round pick. If we could get his teammate Leonard Floyd however that would be ideal but I think Floyd will be going first round because he is an elite athlete who has shined both at OLB and ILB.

CB to me is the biggest concern, along with an OLB opposite McPhee, and at this point I am not sure how it will shake out with the position. As far as the first round goes if the Bears aren't in a position for Goff I would love to see VH3 - Vernon Hargreaves III. Hargreaves is an absolute stud and a big part of why Florida is one of, if not, the best teams in the SEC, and all of CFB.

If Cam Sutton from Tennessee is available high second he would be the debate with Jordan Jenkins to me. OL is also a concern but I don't believe as much as a liability as the current corners are. Fuller was so promising pre-injury but at this point it becomes very hard to place faith in him as a long term solution as an outside corner. Fuller played a lot of inside in college and may be best suited for a slot/nickel or even a safety role going forward.

Regardless of Fuller the Bears will need to address the position as it is crucial to any 3-4 D. In Fangio's scheme he places a higher emphasis on the front, and riightfully so, but cover corners are still very much a need, even with a star-studded pass rush.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
Either an OT or pass rushing OLB. Gotta beef up the fronts on both sides the ball.

I'm hoping the Bears sign Glenn or Okung so OL would be a late round pick for me. Especially if Grasu and Jones look like they can play. ILB, CB/S, or DE in the 2nd if we go QB in the 1st.

Everybody likes to ride the Joey Bosa train but nobody ever seems to talk about Joshua Perry. The kid is a monster. You'll here his name a ton during the pre draft process.

ND is horrible.
A lot depends on availability, but if forced to spit out an answer, i'd go CB or S.

We need quality young players in the secondary desperately.

I think a lot will depend on how the rest of the season plays out. If Acho becomes a viable player opposite of McPhee, do you invest a high draft pick on an OLB? Or try to pay Acho to a moderate deal and hope he'll continue to do well. Or if one of our DBs work out, then we could shift focus a bit differently? I really do think though that secondary should be the #1 priority. There are no corners on the team that you can confidently say will be a starter next year and we can feel safe about that.

There is no position outside of QB, if we draft one in the first, that we don't need an upgrade at. I would be cautious about picking a RB or WR, but if the value is there, we are in no position to pass on any position. BPA all draft again this year folks.

A lot will also depend on Houston going forward. If Acho and Houston can form a decent combo or one steps up considerably OLB won't be much of a need early.
