Worth a max deal, no questions. I'd love to see him operate on the wings with Lauri and Carter. Theres no question he could carry an offense.

Durant and Klay could both bolt GS, since that entire starting 5 should command max deals. Klay is still young enough that I'd be totally comfortable giving him that kind of money. As you said, he helps on both sides of the ball and brings in a winning pedigree.

At the same time, there's always the chance that the Warriors owners say screw it and just pay everyone the max and eat the absurd luxury tax cost until they fall apart.
One has to think at least one of those big names will leave, but who knows anymore?

Durant's nonchalance towards the questions has me thinking he really will look at options outside of GS. The only thing left to do in his career is to win a title as the unquestioned alpha of a team. I feel like hes the Warriors' best player, but there are still many people that say it's Steph's team.

Well...it is Steph's team even if KD is the best player. Steph is the unquestioned leader of the team.
But yeah KD is probably the most likely to bolt currently. Saw a BR thing today saying that he's looking to get paid. Said something like "I've seen all these guys get huge paydays and I haven't gotten one yet"

I honestly don't think Klay cares about being "the guy." And I think he really likes playing on that team. The only way we have a chance is if GS doesn't offer him a max and we throw more money at him.
