either would be a great fit here. The outfield tools seem more needed defensively, and the left handed pop a missing piece for a while.
Clubhouse Machado would seem the better fit.
The Sox seem to always make a "fairplay" offer of the right value, because they refuse to accept themselves as a undesirable destination that needs to overpay to have a baseball team. They can't wait for the right value right fit guy to come at a fair price, they need to buck the trend leaving either of these guys on the market in this collusion, and force one of those guys to sign, preferably the one they choose they need the most. Make them see some reason you want to win there instead of New York, or L.A., Florida.
