Lonzo Ball is who he is. He's not going to be a top 10 PG in the NBA, but he's very valuable at what he does. Defense, shooting, and passing while limiting turnovers.

Vucevic doesn't deserve a lot of the hate he's been getting. Great rebounder, good passing center, and can score from any spot in a half-court set. Yes, he's struggled in terms of scoring efficiency. But I believe he's a top 10 center in the NBA. He will be missed while he's out.

DeRozan and LaVine have been the NBA's deadliest offensive duo so far this season. And DD has been an MVP candidate level player. He's proven that he is a lot better defender and three point shooter than he used to be. Bulls got a gem in him.

I don't think it's likely they'll win the East. The Nets, Bucks, and Heat should all be better. But the Bulls are just one great player away at this point.

I hope lonzo can improve his offensive game, but I love how he plays the game. He has an extremely high ball iq and is always in the right spot. He makes a huge impact whether it shows up in the box score or not.

As a 6’6 PG he needs to develop a post game and work the smaller guards. Also needs to develop sweet spots inside the 3 pt line ala DeRozan. DeRozan is so deadly because he’s so good at getting to his spots. DeMar knows where he’s shooting the ball before he gets there…and if the defense takes it away, he already knows his next move or spot he wants to get to. If Zo develops a post and mid range game it’s game over. Needs to continue to work on it

Wonder if Caruso gets the start again over Green or not

AD is going to be a problem for them tonight.

Dwight and DJ as well. Lakers have massive size advantage and I expect Tony Bradley to be sitting most of the night with foul trouble

I do see him taking an occasional midrange shot, but I feel like it's always a step back and usually under pressure. I think we'll not see too much success from him this year on creating his own offense inside the 3pt line. Next year though...maybe. A post up game from him would be pretty sick now that he's fixed his set point to not be across his body and can actually do such a move, but again I think it'll take time for him to actually learn and be comfortable enough to use it in a game setting.

Yeah I agree. He hasn’t been able to make strides there thus far so he either hasn’t focused on it or hasn’t been able to improve yet. Will take time

I think we'll see an improvement in his midrange game before we see a post game. Given how his shot was before, I can't imagine he did any sort of posting in the past besides things like hook shots. He'll really want to develop that post fadeaway to be effective there and most likely he has to first get his midrange shot worth something before that ever happens.

I'd also like to see a little more of a floater/runner game developed from him so that he can actually score on something besides 3s and layups

Marko time baby!!!

in seriousness, though…I do think he could give them 5-10 decent minutes tonight. Plug him in at the 5 and let him have AD for a short bit. Sure, Marko is going to get crushed on the defensive side(all bulls players that try him will) but on the offensive side Marko might be able to pull AD away from the basket some to clear the paint a bit for Zach and Demar to go to work as usual. Marko seemed to have a decent enough mid range shot to make AD pay if he sags off to the paint too much

My guess is he has other issues that were of more importance that he worked on fixing first. I.E. free throw shooting and 3 point shooting

he used to be absolutely atrocious at both. Now he’s killing it.

he’s 24, and now teamed with guys he can easily learn from in DD and ZL. He’s clearly got the work ethic based on the other areas he massively improved himself…my guess is another year or two, he will be a dominant player in an all around type of way
