Agreed. In short spans I believe we can hold out without one or the other but won't work for long stretches'. Even the Lakers were working to defend DDR as if he was the only player on the team. He was just balling on another level last night in the 4th. I'm sure it would take a toll when every team we played did the same.
For sure, and let’s not pretend the Lakers are some good team we just beat either

Well they've taken Houston seriously this time.

And just when they creep back to within 15…Lonzo goes ham and pops it back to 23

Didn't realize this McKinnie guy was on the Warriors in 2019, and pretty much played in every playoff game that year.

I think the same could be said if Lavine wasn’t on the team too.

Yeah my point wasn't to diminish Zach, but rather to point out the impact of a player who i thought was a bad fit and was a little down on when we signed him. His veteran poise has been imperative for this young team.

Hah I watched the Bulls instead of the Bears tonight. Always the correct decision.

Alfonzo McKinnie, come on down! Marc Eversley and AK just keep finding these gems

I thought this same thing to myself last night. Feels like all the little guys they pick up to fill in just keep working out. Testament to the Coach, roster, management setting up a system and a culture that is flexible and plug and play.

I'd keep McKinnie and drop Matt Thomas when the roster is fully healthy.

Would be a good move imo. McKinnie adds some defensive ability with his length and Matt Thomas hasn't really shown his one strength in any of the bits I've seen him

Game vs Denver is Thomas's only real playing time in a game that wasn't a blowout.. and he wasn't very impressive.

All I know is that for someone who is supposedly signed to be a 3pt shooter, he seems to pump fake and drive a lot with very little success

I just don’t really agree with the whole at or below .500 notion without demar. Just like without ZL, this is still an above .500 roster without Demar IMO.

you’d still have a couple all stars and a fringe all star without demar. But certainly glad we have him, as I was also hesitant about the demar signing initially

Ever since we got rid of Kyle Korver it seems we've been searching for a Kyle Korver replacement and have never been able to find one. We've actually stumbled into grievous mistakes trying to find one, i,e, Doug McDermott trade.
