110%. I wonder what defense the coby defenders have for him now that they can’t just say that he’s hurt and we need to wait and see what he can do

well, we are seeing it…nothing different from the previous two years

problem is, I’ll be surprised if there is a GM out there that will part with anything decent for him now
Pretty quiet the other night though :)

I’d be somewhat surprised if Coby makes it past the deadline. Ak doesn’t mess around and Cobys minutes are best left for Ayo. Bulls need a big…something has to give
He’s starting right now. That’s not a great role for him. His best role is off the bench as a 2 guard. Ayo’s minutes aren’t going anywhere.

you aren’t getting a big with Just Coby though.

Also, that “solid” game you’re hanging your hat on, he still shot under 50% and was a +1 in a game the bulls won by 15

When? When coby had 20 something like a week ago?

hang you hat on one solid game and ignore the rest by all means
He’s not a starter. This isn’t an ideal role for him tonight. The other night was perfect for him off the bench. That’s where he fits in best. Off the bench as the 2.
People on this forum bitched about him starting and then go back to that when he’s having a bad game. Fair. It’s not his role. When they are healthy it’s a good time to judge him honestly.

Ayos minutes will be there. Don’t get upset about it.

I’m not worried about Ayo. I’m worried about Coby. He’s a detriment to the team when on the court.

He’s a below average NBA player. Holding on to him makes zero sense if there’s a guy to be had for him that can help the bulls win games. Which, as I’ve noted…I doubt the bulls can get much of anything for him at this point

Zach closed that one out. Onto Atlanta and the short handed hawks. No setbacks.

Who can be had for him thats worth it without giving up Williams and a pick. I don’t think it’s plausible at this point.

I wouldn't mind giving up Williams + Coby + a pick if it makes us immediately better in an area of weakness

Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, you have to carpe diem

No one ever realistically thought Coby would ever be a player that is getting you a really good big man. So don’t know your point here.

Reality is the bulls aren’t getting a big man that is anything close to fringe all star or anything.

And that’s okay, that’s not what they need really.

They need a solid veteran back up big that has good hands, plays defense, and rebounds

that they can find a way to acquire
