I have been dying to get this ripped out, and finally got to it.
Having the right tools for the job makes life so much better.
A few bucks for the purpose built chain is saving wear and tear on my vehicle and my body.

This is the nasty ass stuff I am getting rid of

Wanna make a few of those for me?

That looks outstanding.

That offset in the middle shelves makes it pop. It wouldnt look near as good if all the shelves were uniform.
Good job.
I made another one because I just can't stop collecting books I don't read so this is on the only wall left in the fourth bedroom/office/"library"

Will you stain it or put a finish on?

Also, very nice
Honestly probably just let it be naked. Never got the other one stained and would have to partially take it apart to get it out the room to the workshop. Speaking of workshops, I got a very nice bench the other day for cheap. I might post pics here but will wait until I desperately need validation from anonymous internet people. For now this bookshelf post has given me my fix.

Just got done building storage shelves in my garage. One is braced from the ground up with room for my garbage cans underneath it and the other is a double shelf that is hanging from the ceiling. I am in process of building a french cleat wall for my tool storage and then it is on to a 15 x 12 floating deck in my back yard.

Who’s got the most garbage disposal experience here? In 10 years of home ownership I’ve never had a disposal go bad. Mine currently is about 5 years old and twice in the past week I just get a humming sound. The first time I thought it was clogged cuz my wife put egg shells down it 🙄 so I cleared it and reset it and it worked fine. Also cleaned with baking soda/vinegar.

Now a week later, I’m getting the same thing but there’s nothing in it. Bad motor? Should I just cut my losses and buy a new one?
