Meh on Jenkins (would rather have a LT)

The point is...he's giving up a ton of picks, with a thin roster, banking that he's gonna hit 100% on his limited picks.

We'll be a team that drafts 2 guys in the top 150ish picks .....unless we gives up more.....you confident in his ability to recognize/hit a high % of his picks?

Fully expected him to trade down and get another day 2 pick while still being able to get a guy like Brown/Radunz in round 2

You make a good point but I would point out that it is the type of players that he is taking his chances on that I really like.

We needed a franchise QB more than anything and he drafted a potential one. And one that perfectly fits Nagy's scheme and was rated extremely high.

We needed a tackle. And we got a mauler that projected as the 2nd best run blocker in the draft. We needed this type of mentality on our line honestly.

I've the top 3 and one or all will be there....add in the 83 pick (db or wr) and will be interesting to compare the two player vs one player comparison

If jenkins hits; its a win and nobody will care....I default to ...its pace making the trade up with conviction so there's a good chance he's wrong and the player busts.

23% is a steep tax but for a first round talent at OL it’s worth it

Well will you look at that. The Bears are actually retooling the OL you were so worried about placing JFF behind. So now they have a solid interior 3, a 1st rnd talent RT and Leno, which for all the hate is still very average, along with some decent depth.

Glad the NFL decided to continue with the draft after round 1.

They made the right move man. They got a first round quality offensive tackle a quarter of the way into the second round. This draft is a bit of a crapshoot, guys fail for all sorts of reasons, but it really does not get much better than Teven Jenkins at thirty-ninth.

So to recap how good pace is;

He signed/resigned a RT and QB to start this offseson and guaranteed them 15 million this year....and then gave up a net of 5 picks to take guys at those spots in rounds 1/2

I'm a huge T.Jenkins fan so i'm not mad but there's some really really good players that are gonna be at #52 and there will be more at #83 soooooo................................but i love Jenkins.

Good list and we do have the benefit of hindsight to work with here now don’t we. So our pick is up right now and to be honest the wrs/T/db I was hoping to fall there have all been selected. Makes me feel even better trading up

plenty had jones and/or fields outside the top 10

it's more of an indictment on pace to give dalton that much cash and esp ifedi.....not my money, but bet he'd love to have an extra 4-8 million to go get a vet f/a at LT/WR/CB
