They still won't be good enough. Andy Dalton will keep us from getting our next QB. Scrub will play just well enough that we sign him to a 4 year deal. Pace/Nagy will be given another year.

But the defense had no talent and was holding Pagano back from reaching his full potential

The most Bears thing possible would be to suck just enough to land outside of the top five picks. I'm pretty sure if I ever even saw a middling franchise quarterback in a Bears jersey I'd die of a heart attack.
