So that was a nice fun game I thought the Bulls might blow 3 or 4 times. Does seem like there a greater chance of blowing it if Middleton doesn't get hurt. He was hot in the 3rd Q.

Bucks down Portis as well now, Middleton's injury sounds more severe though. It'll be interesting to see how they respond.

Bucks still a good team without both, but definitely a hit to them. Bulls can take advantage, though I'd still pick the Bucks to win the series.

I was having adverse effects from the covid booster shot and had a fever. Was difficult to watch this game sweating like a pig. Can't tell if it was the fever or the game making me sweat so bad. Defense was good, offense didn't go through that lull that we have been seeing and even when we did miss a few shots in a row, we played good, high energy defense at the other end.

The one thing I want to see is that we had 5 players play rather insignificant minutes. That's over 20 unused fouls. I want to see nothing easy for Giannis. He is used to overpowering people and being the bully/ We should go Jordan Rules on his ass. His FT shooting is suspect. Rather him beat us at the FT line than get easy dunks or layups.

I watch all sports but i'm surprised mommy lets you stay up that late on a school night.
You keep running with this mommy thing. Use some of that FF money you scammed CCS members out of to have someone workshop you some better jokes.

How are the Knicks doing?

The Knicks are rebuilding, you know like the Bulls have been doing since Mike left until they traded for Vuc last year and signed Derozan and Caruso in the offseason. They'll know how the Knicks are doing after their 1st round series loss.

It's not 1988 anymore. Fouling Giannis intentionally hard risks flagrant fouls in today's NBA. Best they can do is just play tough defense on him and force him into bad shots that he is known to take. They aren't always going to stop him, but certainly things they can do better. They have at times played really good defense on him, so it can be done, but keeping it up for 48 minutes will be hard. I'd rather them shut down the rest of the team though. In the 3rd Q there were so many defensive lapses that allowed Middleton to get open and hit 4 threes in the quarter.

Rebuilding since Jordan left? I dont think you understand what rebuilding means. The Bulls had a stretch under John Paxton that led to 11 playoff appearances in 13 years. One of those years they made the ECF off the back of a home grown core of Rose, Deng, Noah, Taj and Asik. That's not rebuilding. That's being built. The Bulls worst stretch, which has been the past 5 years, has essentially been what the Knicks have been but for the past 20 years.

You cant compare the two franchises.

Imagine being a fan of them and trying to mock how long another team has been rebuilding
And then not even realizing the bulls haven’t been rebuilding until the last few years. Like, a knicks fan of all people should know what does and does not qualify as a rebuild lol

Yup, right there with the Kings and Pelicans
The Kings are by far the worst franchise in the NBA. They haven't made the playoffs since 05-06 and have blown so many lottery picks. Of some of the ones they've hit on they fail to surround those guys with talent or just trade them away.

The Pelicans have been much more "successful" than the Kings in that time frame. I'd argue their more successful than the Knicks in this time frame as well.

The Knicks have one playoff appearance (last year) since 2012-13, and they only have 5 total playoff appearances since 2000-2001, they've made the 2nd round once in that time frame.

The Knicks haven't won a title since 1973.

Knicks haven't really been notably relevant since Linsanity
