again, you are merely making up your own reality

saying horton is an option to bring up is saying nothing. certainly is not calling him mark prior 2.0. it is merely stating that he is one of several options that COULD be brought up. this is basic english.

if you think they have already made up their mind on who it will be, then youre just speculating based off of nothing other than your own hope and bias

but hey, enjoy living in your own reality!

Are you going to be mad when he is on the mound on Friday?

not at all. again, i have no horse in the race. i am not the one making claims based off next to nothing.

i am in the camp of, it could be one of several pitchers on friday...just like the GM and manager have said

You have to look at it from a salesmanship position on this. He's speaking to the fans when he says yes he is an option. So when you say something like that to a fan base who most likely is 90% pro bring up Horton it's like tossing a stick of dynamite into a fire. Cade is the dynamite and the fan base is the fire.

If you don't think he should be up you're obviously in the minority on this one.
Sometimes saying nothing is the best option.

Speaking of horse races, they mentioned the name of every horse running in the Kentucky Derby Saturday thus they were all deemed favorites.

That is what I would have done. Told Craig to back peddle the comment and not dump more oil on the fire

That said Flexen pitched last night so the decision should come down to use the off and start Taillon or Horton.

I am a believer of momentum and and bringing a spark to the team. They lost both aces. Their closer just got spanked bad. You need to act and bring a sense of hope to the fans and the team.

We saw what bringing a talent like Tucker did to the line up and the fan base. Making a move like this when the team and the fans just got 2 gut punches, 3 including Steele, is the right call.

Jed then will have some games with Horton on the team going into the ASG where he can assess and decide on trade needs.

Jed has had success with guys like Rea, Flexen and Pomerez. I do feel that that is the right direction going forward in the pen. Vet starters in long relief roles. Guys that know how to pitch vs limited pallets.

Hodge should go back to closing. Both hom and Pressley had a shitty game but 8 runs in a inning after every other pen arm kept the O off of the board? That is called batting practice pitching

Listening to some feedback. Friday is national on Fox. Most likely Taillon pitches on that stage. Boyd has injury concerns and that extra day makes sense. So Sat is looking more like that date.

Craig manages for 162. I doubt that he runs a pen game.

Good thing is Shota has a mild or grade 1. He is talking to Steele who went through it last year

Steele said that he kept throwing during the hammy recovery and he was able to get back on the mound faster last year. So I expect Shota to follow that pattern

Re-on Horton

Atlantic guys feel that the argument against bringing up Cade is weaker than the bring him up. While talking to the people who make the decisions they look at what they say and their expressions. Also there is two sides to the argument with in the front office.

So this is not a yes or no thing. This is a ongoing dialogue but the yes has a stronger argument right now than the no side.

Jed has said that there is no such thing as a innings thing. They sited Crochet going right into the majors and the old way of number set is not the way teams do things anymore.

They are moving towards watching velocity, arm angles, pitch shapes. Sequencing.

Jed said that the last hurdle for Cade was not wasting pitches. In the minors his talent can over come falling behind in a count. The majors talent is no enough.

But the counter argument is: is he better right now than the 5 current options going. Most are saying yes and he is one of the best 26 players on the roster right now not being on the 40 man.

So this is a ongoing process

I am relaying info. You are making shit up

So stop ok.

If I thought that you were actually watching the free podcast given on a silver platter about this stuff then I would not bother.

But no you want to argue about stuff that doesn't matter. Like spelling and other kindergarten level arguments.

lol you claimed horton was the front runner to get the start. i pointed out that the front office said he is one of several options.

nothing is made up about any of what i just said.

you are the one making up narratives, not me
