Happ. Nuff said.Is the third base coach always this bad on sending runners home? Or is it just a “stay aggressive” no matter what mindset?

They lost as well.Really hurt not putting the ball in play with PCA on 3rd and 1 out.
I looked at the scores and thought "at least everyone in the division is going to lose." And the Cards then scored 4 in the bottom of the 8th to take a 4-3 lead.
Shaw ain’t going to the 5 holeQuick switch up
LF Happ
RF Tucker
DH Suzuki
CF PCA
3B Shaw
1B Busch/Long
SS Swanson
C Ballesteros/Kelly
2B Hoerner
Bench Turner @ Berdi
Get some O going.
I believe the 5 hole os Shaw's long term home. See what he can do with PCA ahead of him. Little power and able to punch hits to RF is ideal with PCA's wheels.

Yeah that was good to see. I mentioned that everyone in the division was losing, but since he had actually won. I misread the Cincy versus Cleveland since they’re the same town in my mind. They lost as well.
Someone stating that Shaw will not be moving to the five spot is not shitting on him. Not even remotely close. There was nothing even slightly negative said about Shaw. It was simply someone stating that management is not gonna move the rookie to the five spot right now.Its pretty funny when your 4th best hitter over the last month gets shit on by fans.

You live in a world where every day you’re changing the lineup because somebody got two hits the day before. That’s not how it works and that’s not how it should work.
You may move people around versus a lefty starter and then change it for a righty starter, etc. but you’re not gonna move a guy up and down based on the fact that he got hit yesterday. Most anyone will tell you that’s the worst thing you can do with a young hitter.
I honestly kinda like nico and shaw later in the line up because they are so good at making contact. It loops the line up well in what traditionally would have been "lead off" types. only they are hitting with people on base more.
