hey crys, can you find someone who still sells Salsa Verde Doritos

They still make them for restaurants that sell a bag of chips on the side (like subway, but IDK if any subways carry them). No idea if they sell them in bag sizes, other than lunch servings.

Can you make them without sodium benzoate?

If it's in the original recipe, then you can substitute, but it wouldn't be exact. I'm sure you could fool most people and not use most of the preservatives, but not fool everyone.

Heck, I use xylitol in most of my sodas, and nobody notices. Best sugar substitute ever(my opinion), and it's natural.

Making soda is hard to do right, but the great part about making your own, is that if you screw up, the final product usually still tastes good

All you need to get started is; A decent CO2 tank, a regulator valve, a hose, and a carbonator cap + some safety education to make sure you don't blow bottles up and hurt yourself. Of course, this is a bit of a ghetto rig, but it works rather well.
