It sure seems like with the way this team for next season is coming together a RB that's really good at catching the football out of the backfield would be a great addition to this team and would really help M.Glennon, J.Howard and the offense.

I myself wouldn't mind taking the chance on J.Charles on a low cost low years contract even with the injury concerns he brings since he wouldn't be getting close to the type of work he was getting in KC being the #1 RB but he'd have to come in knowing that he's only that and that J.Howard is the #1 RB. At this stage of his career a #2 RB is the only choice i see him getting anyway.

If not J.Charles then B.Cunningham would be a great addition as well. He's not only a really good pass catcher but he's also good at KR/PR which we still don't have since we didn't get C.Patterson like some thought we would.

He would be a huge piece for us if he could stay healthy. The dude is still great at what he does and would help us from beating J.Howard up so much.

I'll add that i'm a huge C.McCaffrey fan and would love to get him if we trade down to the mid 1st round. I was a fan before the combine but am completely sold on him after the combine. He was so smooth catching the ball and running and cutting.

He's the same age as Matt Forte, it would make Ryan Pace look stupid if he brought in a 30 year old running back. If he does want a pass catching RB he'd look in the draft.

Joe Mixon was a receiving weapon with 32 receptions for 449 yards with five touchdowns.

Kareem Hunt made 41 receptions for 403 yards and a touchdown.

Langford is supposed to be that for us. Thing is, he needs space to pick up enough speed to play up to his potential.

Either give Langford another year to see if he can put it together, or draft someone to do it. But now is not the time to bring in a 30+ year old DB with miles on him

I wouldn't mind Alvin Kamara or TJ Logan in the draft.

I agree on Charles if he's cheap on a one year deal. There are also guys like Kenjon Barner, Bobby Rainey and Branden Oliver who would be cheap.

The Bears could always take a chance on Barry Sanders' son.

Mixon is the best dual back coming out of college since Reggie Bush. And he's a kick returner.

Bear won't be looking at RB that early in the draft Kamara will go round 2.

He's going to be a steal, all because he gave a girl a taste of equality a few years back.

Charles would be interesting, however, he hasn't really played in 2 years and I think his body is done. I fully expect Pace to do nothing and rely solely on his drafted player, Jeremy Langford.

That would be Ausies new all time favorite Bear.

Langford is done and Charles certainly is. Maybe we'll draft one midway through the draft that can fill that role or perhaps find a hidden gem in a undrafted free agent.

It wasn't the smartest move to get rid of Forte when he wanted to stay. Jets are paying peanuts for Forte who's still playing at a high level.

Reminds me of how Matt Forte always needed a "short yardage back".

After wasting money on Chester Taylor, Marion Barber, Michael Bush and any other loser I forgot about...you would think everyone would know better by now.

Just give the ball to Howard and don't over think it.

He's got speed, man. If he's still on the team might as well try to use him according to his skills.

Truth, Howard did some real damage on a few of his catches. Still, it is wise to have backs with diverse traits, as it gives your offense situational flexibility.

First sentence was good and then, BOOM, right to overthinking it.

Two Step Plan

1. Give the ball to Howard

2. Enjoy the results of Step One

I hope the Bears let Ka'Deem Carey compete with Jeremy Langford for the #2 spot if they don't sign/draft someone. I've liked him more than Langford

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that but everyone also knows that R.Pace isn't gonna sign players with any off field character issues and Mixon had one of the worst you can have. He'd bring too much negative attention to the team and after the Ray McDonald thing.............................

It's not looking good for Langford after last year but there was people saying he played with a hurt foot or some part of his leg last year, i'm pretty sure it was his foot.
