It wasn't the smartest move to get rid of Forte when he wanted to stay. Jets are paying peanuts for Forte who's still playing at a high level.

Seems Forte wanted to start...Bears moved on....it wasn't anything. Bears made the right decision in this case.

I like Jamaal Williams in the 5th.....he may not be an ideal blocking back but he is fast and could be a good receiving back.

While a passing catching back sounds good in theory, in practice they won't be of much use on the Bears.

Passes to the backs are most effective when the LBs get deep in coverage. The Bears playaction/running game will keep the backers close to the LOS. They also don't have talent at WR/TE that is going to scare LBs enough to force them out of position.

RBs will probably get lit up with underneath passes if you cannot get the LBs to drop deeper into their zones.

The Bears will need some done the field threats and someone to stretch the seam.

Marshal Faulk was good in Ind, but when he had Bruce and Holt he was a monster catching passes in space. I don't think any receiving back on the Bears is going to get much space with the other weapons this team has.

We need someone to take some carries from Howard or we'll run him into the ground. He missed some games in college with ankle and MCL injuries and he came off the field multiple times last year limping even though he always returned but he seems like a guy that could get some minor injuries throughout a season and Langford hasn't shown to be even a good #2 RB as of yet. He did supposedly play injured last year so maybe we haven't seen the best of him yet but i think we have.

Out of Howard, Langford and K.Carey, Carey has the best hands of the three so IMO we need a better #2 RB to backup Howard and since Fox loves running the ball why not get a true #2 RB to play behind Howard. Hopefully Howard has been working on his pass catching this off season cause if that dude got his pass catching right he'll be unstoppable.

Bear won't be looking at RB that early in the draft Kamara will go round 2.

He's going to be a steal, all because he gave a girl a taste of equality a few years back.

The problem is, though, if he gives another girl a "taste of equality" again he is out of the league for a year.

Not against the pick but the guy has baggage.

Good call on Cunningham he is visiting the bears today. Wouldn't be surprised if we sign him. Pace really does a good job of at least addressing positions of need before the draft.

Maybe if they do a trade-down with the Jets, they can get Matt back as part of the deal?

Yessir just saw that he's visiting today. He'd be a great signing and he can also do KR/PR duties and do them well as well as being a good pass catcher. Hope we sign him.

I really hope they sign Benny Cunningham (RB) today. A solid pick up like a lot of the Bears FA. Now we just need Hankins (NT/DE) to shore up the DL and possibly
T J McDonald (SS). The Bears would be good to GO!

If they draft Watson and have Howard and Cunningham on the field at the same time Loggains should be able to dream all kinds of plays. Pretty exciting.
