Of all the teams I really wanted to go East ...

This Preds team can put anyone to sleep. They're that boring.

With that in mind, 5-1 Hawks... cause Pekker has given up many in a game once before this season.... that was him against Phoenix, wasn't it?

Even if Rinne has been less than stellar lately, goalies it seems have a tendency to play like mad when facing the Hawks. Hawks squeak out a frustrating one goal win despite carrying the play.

I hope the preds don't wear those god awful mustard yellow jersies tonight. I'll be bored and nauseated.

No Sharp or Hossa, Crawford in net.

I still believe had they lost yesterday Sharp and Hossa would be in the line up tonight. I'd rather they play tonight than have their starting game of return against the Hack Blues on Thursday. But it's Q's choice.

Jibes with what the basic word on the streets has been which is that if they were needed any "today" they could and would play but in order to better ensure total recovery the Hawks are keeping them out for just a bit more recovery time. They haven't even had to be in no-contact jerseys during the past few practices.

[sup]There is never contact in practice so they really never needed to be in no contact jerseys. Not sure why they wore them that one day. Sharp has been ready since last week. Hossa usually doesn't play unless he's damn near 100% either way.[/sup]

Boring one but here's hoping the D shows up for the 2nd straight game.

Just win at any cost.

Okay, maybe not a season-ending injury to one of our players, but if it means that someone has to get in front of a Weber slapshot to stop the GTG or GWG and take it in the breadbasket then so be it.

good to see Craw get a back to back game.

I have a gutt feeling this will be a slaughtering again. Preds can play boring hockey but they can alsoallow their oponents to open the flood gates on them.

hopefully stalberg q tips his ears tonight.

im not concerned about hossa and sharp returning yet. I could care less if they come back a week from today. Hawks have had the privillage of notr having to rush them back. this will go a long way come the playoffs.

Craw redeemed himself in the shootout after that costy ugly first goal against in the 3rd (2nd ones debatable too). Anyone ever want to question momentum in hockey? Not a good goal Craw but you killed it in the shoot out.

Roszival? Who would have seen that coming. Shows once again that the shoot out is a bit of a crap shoot unless you are a goalie who has all the pressure on them.

Rough 3rd period. Boring Preds. Back to back games. 2 points. All that matters.

St Louis will be interesting. Bouwmeester might make it a bit rougher on the Hawks. Not that he is a game changer but it does change up the Blues defense enough. Ill take Sharp and Hossa back now. Im completely disenfranchised with hayes at this point. Morin is the better skill set and he gets buried on the 4th line while Hayes lumbers around the 2nd looking like a 4th liner? Good grief. If guys aren't going to be slotted properly then at least bring me back Sharp for that 2nd line lw.

Hope Bollands okay I dont want an excuse for handzus to play 2nd line center against the Blues. Funny how you don't miss Bolland until he is gone. That didn't help the 3rd period mess either.

oh ps...bull shit officiating tonight. stalberg cross checked from behind..no call. Kane high sticked twice..no calls. Toews elbowed to the head...no call. Nice work NHL refs.

Only was able to listen in. Sounded like the 1st against was weaksauce on Crawford and the 2nd was because of the obligatory 3rd period collapse and resulting chinese firedrill.

Sounded like another great game by Saad. Will have to check the recap tonight.
