I like Lalonde since we drafted him, even though he seems to get lost in the mix of Clendening/Stanton/Olsen, i hope all four eventually crack our lineup.

If hawks win tonight, that's 77 out of 94 points or 82% of the possible points. I wonder what the record is...

They would be on pace for 134.34 points. Didn't the Wings surpass that in that one ridiculous season they had?

Nope they didn't. They were 62-13-7 in 1995, 131 points. That is the record.

Which is just a hair shy of 80% of possible points. If the hawks win at least 2 of the last 4 points they'll be just over that mark.

It's certainly a great accomplishment, but hard to compare tho because

A-shorter season (easier to hold a pace)

B-more compact season (harder to stay focused all the time)

but the BIG difference is

C- In the past there were no charity points for losing or winning a watermelon seed spitting contest

I dont expect much from the hawks tonight. I think we'll coast through the game, we have nothing to play for and why risk getting hurt.

poor poor Bollig

Sharp can't be the Sharp from last years playoffs he needs to be the Sharp that buries his chances. He should have had 3-4 goals tonight.

no big deal as this was a mean nothing game against a nothing team. Nice to get the win just for the hometown crowd.

Craw once again played really well. Shit did Saad and Toews look like giant world beaters that first period. I thought they would both have huge nights but it just didn't happen.

I knew John Scott sucked ass (Ton told me)... but at least he could beat people up.

Even Scott would have hit that empty net though.

Bollig sucks but it was a great stick save on the EN goal.
