How about this:
- Only 2 losses were the Bears out scored in the 4th quarter.
- Both those losses should have been wins (Miami & GB).
- The other loss (NE) was 7-7 in the 4th with NE benefiting from two ST scores.
- Bears have given up 106 points in 4th and scored 65 points for a differential of only 41 points.
- Bears have scored 294 total points while giving up 195 total points for a point total differential of 99 points (4th in NFL).
Why, Sparky, you would concentrate on the points the Bears have given up in garbage time instead of a very important stat like total point differential, which, you know, actually affects the wins and losses, is beyond me, but I guess you're running out of things to complain about....
Getting outscored by an average of 4pts per game in the 4th is not a good statistic. Roughly half of games come down to one score.
