I think J. Noah's dunk yesterday has to rank as my favorite play in the non-Jordan era. Absolutely incredible. These are my top 5, as ranked by the loudness of my yell when it occurred:

1. Jordan's Game winner over Craig Ehlo to beat the Cavs. "The Shot". May 7th, 1989. 20 year anniversary next week.

2. Jordan's shot to win Game 6, and the 6th Title against the Jazz.

3. Paxson's shot to beat the Suns and win the Title in Game 6.

4. Toni Kukoc's 1.8 shot in the Game 3 win over the Knicks.

5. J. Noah's steal and dunk, Game 6 vs. the Celtics.

Pretty solid list. I agree that Noah's play is the most electrifying since Jordan.

Jordan's crossover lay up move on the Lakers in the first finals, although not itself the game winning shot, is also iconic. Steve Kerr's game winner in '97 also comes to mind, sort of Pax in PHX, Jr. Pax's shot was probably my favorite play in Bulls history. I missed the Ehlo shot live since I was at a Mother's Day Cubs game with my mom. Wrigley Field burst into a bit of an ovation when Jordan made the shot, as so many people were listening on little radios, which is itself one of my top Bulls memories.

How about 'the play' in 2004/05 season against the knicks when Chandler saved the ball and it ended with a curry layup.

Wow, no Jordan beating the Knicks double team on the baseline that lead to Jordon dunking over Ewing?

Noah's play wasn't a game deciding play. ;)

I thought about that one. Awesome, awesome, play, but the common them of all these is that it occurred during "clutch" time. Technically, you could argue that only #1 and #4 were game deciding plays.....every other one did not technically end the game.

There's no picking.

My top 5 favorite Bulls moments is every game I watched in my life.

We're the best NBA team in modern NBA history and only Celtics and Lakers come close, other are a joke to the game and a poor dweebs serving only for marketing purposes.

Toni Kukoc damn...................................damn.

I could write a story on that one...but I gotta bounce now...l8er :)

I can't remember if that dunk occurred during a playoff game. Didn't it occur in the regular season?

I would have to say, since I've been watching the Bulls, in no particular order:

-Ben Gordon's first game winner against the Knicks
-Michael Jordan's final shot as a Bull.
-Nocioni with the block, Chandler saves it to Hinrich, ahead to Curry, he lays it in.
-Gordon's game tying three that was followed by a nut grab in the direction of Garnett.
-Joakim Noah stealing the ball from Pierce, running down court and dunking it in.

It happened in the 1991 playoffs. 1st round, game 3 of the 3 game series.

My Top 5

1) Jordan's game-winner vs Utah in 1998 Game 6
2) Paxson's three in Game 6 vs Phoenix
3) Jordan's shot over Ehlo
4) Pippen's dunk on Patrick Ewing in Game 6 1994 east semis
5) Jordan's game winner vs Utah in 1997 Game 1

Noah's play was great but I don't think it would make my top 10. There was just too many good ones from the dynasty.

How could I forget that one? I am getting old. That was right after Malone blew 2 free throws, and Pippen telling him that the "Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays". Was that right?

Michael, you are the greatest.

And here he did it once again:

I love to have one spectacular guy on the team. Only for moments like that. B)

And there I realize why we drafted Tyrus...why can't he do that ALL THE TIME. Or at least most of it. Sigh...waste of talent.

Anyway favorite plays...wow I have so many. Too hard to pick my best 5 so I'll just list 5
1) Jordan's last shot
2) Pippen dunk over Ewing
3) Ben Gordon game winner against NY
4) That play involving Noc, Kirk and Curry
5) Pippen misses a FT, Jordan comes in and tip dunks it.

I have a lot more and those aren't really my top 5...I just can't pick I'm too indecisive :p
