Kilmer is still working. Just doing bad movies and some TV. He is portraying Mark Twain in a couple of upcoming movies.
First movie I ever saw him in was Real Genius, which wasn't a bad 80s teen comedy. He was great in Heat. I thought his and Ashley Judd's story line was the most interesting part of the movie.

He was in prep for a new super hero movie called Super Chunk. The bottom fell out though.
