"If you want to live in a Republican state with very conservative right-wing laws, then there's a place called Arizona," Brown spokesman Gil Duran said.

First off, **** you...arrogant prick. Duran had a chance there to say something positive or whatever...something like "now's a time for all of us to come together on what's best for CA..."

Second, I live in Fresno County, so I'd become South California. It's not so much that NOr-Cal / So-Cal are divived red blue, it's much more tougher than that. From Redding (north of Sac ) to South Bakersfield, is what's called the Central Valley..and it is pretty right wing. The problem, is that SF/Oakland and LA make up so much more of the population here Just as Chicago is like 60% or whatever of Illinois. we get fucked. They hate our way of life here and we pretty much have gotten sick of them for it. I mean how would any of you like it if someone who lived 3 hours away from you, was telling you how it should be in your area? It's bullshit. We make up a huge % of jobs and revenue for this state, and then have to fund the liberal sit on your ass programs. However, if anyone in the world likes California fruit and vegetables, they were grown in this region of CA. You're welcome.

You just described the situation I live with exactly, and you know what it doesn't bother me that much. And Chicago is a little over 20% of the population of Illinois. It would be about half if you include the suburbs, but you would be hard pressed to make the case that the suburbs are a blue dominanted area.

No I get what you mean, and I can sympathize to an extent. But that is how a democracy works when you are not in the majority.

The liberal agenda really only effects businesses here, and mainly farmers. The EPA Group petititions Supreme Court in smelt case and the teachers / police officers unions **** alotta things up too

Look we aren't agree on any of these issues that you brought up, and neither side is going to convince the other they are correct. I respectfully disagree with your opinions.

Wait, while we're at it, can we make every little redneck republican white trash town its own state too? Maybe we can **** up the liberals and keep the old white guy in power this way.

I love how his exploratory campaign was trying to stir a buzz about Texas creating more jobs than anywhere else(*cough, natural gas boom and oil). But then every other economic statistic sucks. He is good proof to why there are bad conservatives, and good ones. Just like Obama being proof to having bad liberals and good ones.
