Nope, the odds stay the same. The market signals more people to buy tickets, then more people play, the pot gets smaller, the rare winner gets less.
The 1:170m odds are to match the numbers. To win the actual jackpot, per this last example, became 1:500, which is roughly 3x 170 for 3 winners, or 1 in 1,500,000,000, the estimated amount of tickets sold, /3 for the 3 winners.
The only odds that increase, are the same as every other game. You play more, you increase your odds.

So if the odds are 1:170m to begin with. But 1:500m hit the jackpot(3 winners in 1.5b played). The odds actually got worse. :shrug: The small payout winners stay the same.

It doesn't work that way. It's number of possibilities divided by amount of money that can be won by the jackpot (for an easy example I am removing the smaller prizes)
