Toews and probably Hammer to IR?

Maybe they plan too waive and release some dead weight (Morrison)

I got that tidbit a little earlier than the media. Happens every now and then, not often but it happens.
They are at 25 with Montador already on IR. Two guys have to go before the next game... Hammer and Toews..... yeah that's the season.
I think you're right. Either way, they aren't going to call those two up to be healthy scratches....
About Semantics. Bollig being recalled is actually acurate. Bollig is "loaned" from the NHL club to his AHL team. When he comes up to the NHL he is actually "recalled" back to the NHL club.
Also, the 23 man limit on the active roster goes away at the trade deadline. If you have salary cap space, you can bring guys up. After clear day lists are established though, you only get 4 more callups (outside of emergencies).

From what I've read and heard, he ain't half bad as a player either.
IHF would have the best opinion, but from what it seems Bollig is playing well and get's a regular shift even playing the PK.
So we lost John Scott who plays 4 minutes a night, and called up a guy who can play maybe 8-10?
