Let’s see if the guys can get back on track and down the Oilers in their third game of the Circus Trip. After a dismal game by the team’s defense the Hawks will need better play from their top defender Keith and hopefully we see his Keith’s defensive partner back tonight.

This team needs to work on it's defense. We are almost dead last in the league in goals against. That's a concern...I don't want to be the Washington Capitals.





I don't care who the Hawks play Maiden. No team should be losing like this and 2 games in a row? One against a slow old team and one against a young fast team? Screw that, it has nothing to do with how fast the Oilers are. The last two games have exploited the Hawks biggest weakness. It's become soft again and the defense has been horrible. And I don't mind pointing my finger at Keith for a lot of that....hes been garbage!!



Just two frustrating games in a row. I don't remember the last time the Hawks were blown out 2 games in a row like this. The California portion of this trip is going to fucking hard and it's going to be that much harder if Seabs doesn't get back (obviously Keith is going to be suspended..might be good). Kings will kill us if we play this sort of defense. As will the Sharks and so will the Ducks if they start showing up.



Just frustrated. What a horrible 2 showings in a row.

seabs is supposed to be back sometimes during the cali swing. I gave up at 7-1. I was hopping for another miracle comeback game but after seven I gave in.



I really wish this team would play more physical overall. Any time since we've had Toews and Kane when we go and play a real physical team we blow the other team out of the water on the scoreboard.

Well hopefully the last two games have been eye openers and maybe just maybe a little bit more focus on the team defensive end of the game is coming. And hey the goalkeeping could use a shot in the ass also......it hasn't been consistent either. Someone really has to go at Ducan Keith though and give him a good shake (he isn't the only one). He will have time to think while he serves his suspension. What a nightmare he has become though..it's mind blowing. I am sure he is sitting there going "what the **** is wrong with me" too.



Q can take a lot of heat again too for these last two games.



It might be hard to shake off these last 2 games. It's going to be in the heads of these guys. Last thing we need is for a very balanced Kings team to rape us next. And they could.

Keith was fucking terrible. Didn't even look like he belonged in the NHL he was so bad. I have to ask though, why is Q playing him on the right side these last two games? Keith hasn't played the right side in his entire time as a Hawk, if memory serves me. He has ALWAYS been on the left side of the ice. It looked like this was a factor, as he was out of position and running around CONSTANTLY. Still no excuse for how bad he was though. The Hawks team defense is abysmal, and that starts with the defensemen being pylons.
