I just hope they swung through Vancouver to pick up the Defense--they obviously left it there.



I can't really fault any particular guy on this team for this embarassment...EVERYONE sucked. Emery, Crawford, Toews, Keith, Sharp, Kane, Stalberg, Hossa, Bolland, Bickell, Kruger, Smith, Meyers, Carcillo, Montador, Leddy, Hjalmarsson, O'donnel, and Scott. And the sad part is; Scott IMHO was playing the best on the team.



While I think Bag-skating them until Wednesday is more of a knee-jerk reaction emphasizing the dissapointment us fans have in the team, I do think that if Bowman had some pills on him, he would have cancelled the vegas trip and headed straight for SJ...to practice Defense. It's not soley on Keith's shoulders here and it looks simply like the entire set of skaters simply forgot how to play team D--not one or two guys looking incredibly fatigued. IMHO, it looks like the entire coaching staff should take one or two days getting back the the very basics of defensive hockey 101--since everyone on the team looks like they've forgotten it.

Can only hope that whatever is done now between the games will start a fire under their asses and they start playing like they mean it. I fully convinced that there is enough character and leadership in the room that they will realize that shit like we saw the last two games is unacceptable and a full effort is expected, win or lose.

Personally, I'm not buying this crap about Campbell's loss being bigger than we thought, or Seabrook being out means that the team D is suddenly gone. We have enough talent to win against ANY team with what we have as long as the team goes into the game wanting it more than the opposition, but we don't have enough talent to win on talent alone.



As of right now, we're 2nd in he leage and 2nd in the west behind minny (How the smeg did that happen--minny being good?). No reason to panic. But man, seeing the game in Vancouver, then the game in Calgary and Edmonton...boy is this team schizo sometimes.
