It was a boring game because there is no atmosphere in Florida and the ice blows!!! Both teams were struggling with that shit ice in the 3rd period. Stalberg was skating as fast as Brunette usually does.

With that said. I hope we can start winning some games in 3 periods of play.

So I am assuming we didn't play 60 minutes, per usual? I came in during the beginning of the 3rd period from work, LOL...

Looked like the Hawks were trying hold on and not lose in the 3rd. Almost bit 'em in the butt.

No they played a decent 60 minutes for a road game. Florida didn`t play all together that great either in my opinion despite tallying a lot of shots . The ice was really shitty through the entire game, made it slow and boring. You could tell the puck had a mind of it`s own and the players on both sides were having trouble skating on the muck. Officiating was off also a little.

Just wasn`t a super entertaining game. Not sure how much of that had to do with the Hawks. I think it was mostly a poor atmosphere and the ice.

I will say this though...the hitting on this team seems to be down again. Feels like it is down even from last year. Maybe it`s just me.

Now YOU'RE the one who's drunk TCD. They played a very erratic game -- good in spots and bad in spots. It was anything but a "decent 60 minutes"....road game or not. And, yes, the ice was shit. You could see it in the breakaway Sharpie had....he couldn't settle the puck down. As Q said in his presser, this was a game won by Crow. The rest of the team was meh...

I just like stirring the pot. I knew if I posted that we'd get 2-3 pages of why one player is a scapegoat but another is not, supported by reams of stats, opinions, and name calling.

We are setting the pace in the western conference. I'm happy as shit with this team. All is right in the world.

How long before Carcillo pots one of those one on one breakaways. He hit post twice last night as well. I like him on the 1st or second line over Stalberg.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Wouldn't know, I didn't acutally *see* most of the game. The only think thta freaked me out was the Game Stats pae that auto-updated said Fleishmann had the 1st goal, not Toews. What little I did see we looked alright, but I missed all of the third.

That being said whenever I've had to leave for my workout during a tilt, We've always won...that's continued tonight.

I'll take the win...

I didn't think Stalberg was horrible last night, he had one excellent scoring opportunity that I thought to myself, if he makes that, everyone is really going to go apeshit. Still, he didn't stand out, and for a guy on the top line, well at least brunette is driving to the net to cause distractions. Stalberg has been hot, and I wouldn't say he exactly cooled down last game, but let's see how he handles it going forward, maybe he can get back to how he was in preseason.
