It appears that “change” will be the theme for the Blackhawks next game versus the Blues. Carcillo practiced with the second line and Sharp practiced on first line along with Frolik teaming up with Toews. The much wanted move by the fan base may finally see Brunette moved to the third line and it looks like “MIA” Olesz will also see the ice on the third line joining Bolland. There has also been a reunion sighting with Keith and Seabrook teamed up as the number one defensive pair which will pit Leddy and Hjalmarsson as the number two defensive pair. As things stand now Bickell is the odd man out against the Blues.
Stay tuned, you know how coach Q juggles lines, and will Q be schizophrenic in preparation too? Are the potential line changes a knee jerk reaction by coach Q because of the beating by the Canucks Sunday night or is this the right time to shake things up before it is too late?
Will there be new adjustments made on the power play and has the penalty kill been exposed as the same penalty kill from last season?
Will the Blackhawks bounce back against the St. Louis Blues after a dismal showing at home against their hated rival Canucks? Also going into Tuesday night’s game the Blackhawks will be encountering changes made by the St. Louis Blue too. The Blues removed coach Davis Payne from behind the bench and has replaced him with the veteran coach Ken Hitchcock.
Questions….questions….questions!
