ST.LOUIS -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith will return to the lineup Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues after missing three games with a hand injury.

Keith hasn't played since leaving a game against Nashville on Oct. 31 after blocking a shot.

Before the game, the Blues will honor the late Pavol Demitra in a pregame ceremony. Demitra, and teammates on the Lokomotiv hockey club, died in a Sept. 7 plane crash in Russia. He had several ties to the Hawks.

"It's definitely nice what they are doing here," Marian Hossa said Tuesday morning after practice. "He was a great friend of mine. It's great to be part of something like that and it's definitely going to bring some memories back. It's going to be an emotional start. Pavol is always going to be with us."

Joel Quenneville coached Demitra when the two were in St. Louis.

"It's a sad story," Quenneville said. "Some guys stick out in your mind, you're fortunate to coach."

Yup Hitchcock figured this year's team out....just as he has in previous seasons.

Anyway on to the BJ's, nothing worth talking about tonight.

yah i was wrong again. a game i thought the Hawks would be energized for after being killed by the Canucks..didn't happen.

Brunette was no difference maker

Moving on to the BJ's and very little confidence at the moment with the screwed up coaching and lazy non physical play.

This is our winless streak..lets make sure it doesn't go past the current 3 games.

Maybe the Hawks were lucky to win all these tightly contested games last month and now they ran out of luck and this what they are really like. Going into this game I had a feeling that Halak would have a good game since it always seems that faltering goalies somehow have great games against the Hawks. There is a problem with the Hawks from the coaching down to the bottom.

Why the **** no spearing penalty?

After the way Kane was hit with Carcillo on the ice, don't you think ONE OF THE FOUR officials on the might keep an eye on Carcillo?

3rd in the conference with the worst PP in the league. IF that PP starts clicking this team is the best team in the league. I'm going to give it until the quarter mark until I really start worrying about the PP but I'm not really holding my breath.

Well Carcillo shouldn't have even fought Reaves. John Scott was on the ice and should have intervened... would have sent a message to the Blues early in the game. Who cares about a 3rd man in penalty, it would have been a good one to take.

**** that douchebag for taunting too... I'm surprised no one went after him later in the game.

if Scott isn't going to fight, then why are we even playing him? Mayers fights, Carcillo Fights. They can also play hockey.

Okay, what in the **** happened this game?

I left after the 1st because it was my usual workout night (and the 'hawks were undefeated every time I'd go and work out like usual during the game--so much for that supersition) and they didn't look that bad. How in the name of Zeus' Butthole did we get jobbed by these guys? Did the team mail it in the 2nd and the 3rd? Did they show the same lack of heart and pride which they did against Wankouver?
