He was the Oilers 7th defenseman, didn't play as a regular but he was up with the NHL club all year.

Also be interesting if they are both on two way contracts or one.

Then where did the 4 games in OKC come from?

Peckham missed 23 games due to illness and rehab on his hip. He was in OKC for 2 weeks rehabbing (probably another 5-7 games) played in 4 games for the Oils. Season was shutdown for the last 6 games (part of the 23).

Let me know if he signed a two way contract. 2 full pages on depth signings says it's off season.

Never mind, seems that Kostka has been in the minors, though last season he played 35 games for the Leafs. Curious to see if he's gonna be sent to Rockford.

Peckham I doubt will since he's been playing in the NHL the last 3-4 years.

playing 35 games for the Leafs means he's a Rockford signing.

These are AHL players to help Rockford make the playoffs.

If only they would get a new coach for the Hogs

Looks like they expect him to make the roster.

It's not as if these guys are "too old" for Rockford either. Peckham is 25 and Kostka is 27

Defensive depth is never a bad thing. Not terribly enthused by Kostka but as a plug-in here and there, ought to be alright.

Especially when you have to figure Roszival is sitting 30-40 regular season games.

Agreed, Roszival is a player that will most likely be saved for the important games and a good piece to have once the playoffs come around. Thought he was very solid in their run last year and shouldn't have any problems solidifying the back-end when needed. It's nice to have good options available and something I think management have realized, that having a deep capable D corps is valuable if you plan to have deep runs in the playoffs. The health of the line-up is the only thing I could see causing trouble for this team. Otherwise it seems to me this team has this quiet confidence and focus about them that ought to bode well for their chances to take a stab at repeating. Because why not go for it.
