He better get the start tomorrow against the Yotes. Or else there is zero reasons for him to be on the roster and yes send him to the farm. Sitting in the press box is the worst thing for him. Worse than playing on the 4th line.

I assume he will start tomorrow esp with carcillo now out again.

Well d'uh.

Obviously he needs minutes, and sitting up in the pressbox isn't helping his development.

Good job Stan and Q!

Carcillo going out is a blessing in disguise (I hope). I'm excited to see what Saad can do.

Just like everyone thought he was going to play tonight right...?

Well if Carcillo's out, Olesz is still recovering from his offseason surgery, and Ben Smith is still out with his hand injury then who else can they just insert into the lineup?

Take your pick from anyone in the AHL if they had too.

Carcillo played great today. Was banging on the boards and forcing turnovers.

Grant it, Saad is the more skilled player. Hopefully he gets put on the top line because if he plays 4th, its a waste.

I wouldn't say great. He played fine, did his job, didn't interfere, no bad penalties. Fine with me. I want someone who can make a bigger impact on the top line -- Saad or Stalberg. It was the Toews/Hossa show today on that line, you're kidding yourself if you think they wouldn't have produced without Carcillo. I don't mind Carcillo, but I didn't mind Brunette either -- doesn't mean they are great in any sense.

Hell, the way Frolik finished that shot today, he might make a good case up there if he can keep showing that finish along with his energy and hustle. That's the only thing that kept Frolik from being a top-six forward last year -- no shot, no finish. It's no secret. I'm glad he buried it today, I've been waiting for that shot since 2011.

This is Q we're talking about here. He'll be on every line at least once.

Um... he was a +3 and that first Hossa goal was set up all by Carcillo. Sick two line lead pass.

I'd say he played great.

It sucks that he's going to be out.

Exactly. Missing that game last night in the minors probably ruined his career. Get rid of these guys already.

DING, DING, DING!

Exactly. LOL. But seriously, I don't know if we'll see it in only the second game of the season but for sure The Q Random Line Generator of High Panic is a comin' at some point. LOL

It was a good pass, and Hossa got a lucky bounce into the net. He was fine, nothing wrong with that. I'd prefer more talent.

Chemistry can outweigh talent

Carcillo did what he does well...gets the puck to Toews/Hossa...goes to the net, forecheck aggressively
