Weird game that one in the sense that it didn't feel very energenic on or off the ice. Habs gave up half way through the 3rd also. They are horrible. Not a coaching issue in Montreal it's a GM issue.

Anyways Hawks got the job done and really stuck it to them in the end. Good win without the game being physical at all. Hawks played their game and won it in the end.

Great comeback game for Crawford. That stick save he made early in the game was amazing.

Stalberg probably should have had a star of the game but meh Brunette had a good one also. I was skeptical about him being bumped up with Toews and Kane but it all worked out. Stars of the games don't matter. But it was nice to see good games from everyone.

Habs really do suck though. Little emotion on that team.

5 days without the Hawks is going to suck balls. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays what ever the **** we are supposed to say these days..to everyone!! Enjoy the Hawks vacation and support the world juniors!!!!

Bickell!!!!! Stalberg!!!! Crawford!!!!!

Also... Pirri played GREAT! Really nice to see him fit right in... I honestly hope he stays if he plays like he played tonight.

Big props to O'd on defense... he had a solid game. I have a hunch Scott was scratched because his wife is due into labor at any moment and they wanted him to be able to bolt if necessary. Nice job with that.

4 points in 2 games for Stalberg.... hope he can keep it up.

#19 with #20! Congrats Toews on leading the league in goals!

Really there isn't much to complain about tonight... a good ass kicking to another O6 team.

I hope the boys get some nice R&R over the next 5 days and come out ready to kick some ass!!!!!

Morin 7 minutes TOI. Kruger comes back who goes down, Morin or Pirri who had a very good game IMO..

But with Kruger back where does he play? I'd rather have him getting top minutes in Rockford myself. Funny there's no C position for him.

I agree with TCD, oddball game for sure. I wanted the Hawks to play harder but they just kept at it cruise and finally got it done. Not pretty but I take it, as many here say "Just Win"

Can Pirri play wing? It becomes a question of who'd you rather have at wing then, Pirri or Morin.

And he's our suckee, and he is doing everything an 875k player should be doing, contributing but not expected to carry the team, that's what the 6.3m players do...carry the team.

And they are....

Hossa, Toews, Kane and Sharp combined through 35 games........ 145 points.

6 players have 20pts or more already. Oh, that six includes Stalberg for 800K. yea.

Great two games by Stålberg, I guess Q will put him in the basement with 2 min per game now to end his streak as usual.

The best thing is that Craw played a simple and good game, this is what he should do and hopefully we ca put him in a bit more.

Agree. Pirri needs time and reps. Dave Bolland better be watching over his shoulder. He certainly would be great trade bait for things this club needs.

The better question is why **** with Pirri. He is a center and that's a position we have never been strong at over the years.

Let him and nurture and grow in the AHL and when the time is right for both him and the parent club he will be ready.

Bolland is a proven playoff performer. Would be dumb to trade that away. Especially knowing the teams we will likely see in said playoffs.

It would be dumb to trade him during this season, but not dumb to entertain any callers during the summer.
