Play nice.

Anyway whoever the **** it is needs to pull their head out of their ass and change the PP.

Also brunette needs to be on the 4th line unless it is a PP but we still need a better PP system.

I would love to see the STK line reunite but it does leave a vacuum at center. I'd love to see some of our Rockford talent get brought up or hell play Olsez he looked decent in the pre-season and look at Frolik I hated the guy last year, this year he looks much better. At this point what can it hurt just to try him out and see what he does. Maybe he is an improvement over what we have.

I don't know, I think our C situation will be fine by the end of the year. Kruger needs better linemates to produce and Mayers has proved he can take faceoffs and play C. Toews, Kruger, Bolland, Mayers.... I'm fine with that.

For the record, Mayers is 27-for-16 in the circle, placing him at 62.8%... he can play C.

Okay then that works, then put STK back together, when Keith comes back, put Seabs and Keith back together. The goals will come.

Also you got your numbers backwards, the way you have it is he's ballpark 150% in the draw. you have the numbers backwards

Play nice to who?

what?

Yea Tony Mayers has been a pleasent suprise. And not many have mentioned but the 3rd line has looked like ass for three games as well. I sense a line shake up before the blues game.

Supra, the numbers are right, he's won 27 draws and lost 16... I just said it in the wrong context, my fault.

Here's what I would do:

Sharp/Toews/Kane

Carcillo/Bolland/Hossa

Smith/Kruger/Frolik

Stalberg/Mayers/Bickell

Call up Smith, sit Brunette. I know it seems like a big shake-up, but throw that out there I bet they'd do well. I think it's time to give Kruger a better shot, let Mayers center the 4th, and put Carcillo and Bolland together.

Thought Bolly and Hoss have no chemistry?

Wakey, wakey(Q). Line up shakey.

From Jahns twitter...

Rostislav Olesz will "likely" play tomorrow vs. Blues coach Joel Quenneville said.

Keith said he's very "optimistic" that he will play tomorrow for the Blackhawks.

Blackhawks defense pairings now: 2-7, 8-4, 20-6

Ok, judging from this drill the Blackhawks lines are: 10-19-67, 13-88-81, 85-36-15, 25-16-22 ... Bickell odd man out so far.

I guess the first two lines are OK, but why anchor Bolland with Bruno and Olesz? Those aren't the types of players that are going to carry a line if Bolland keeps slumping. I do like the idea of the 4th line though.

Montador is a scratch according to this, not sure I would agree with that come game-time. He's definitely grown on me this year... not $2.75M worth, but growing on me kinda like Sopel did. Scratch OD and play Monty instead IMO. The guy is finally forming a role and finding his place on the team and you're gonna sit him? Hope #5 is on the ice against the Blues.

Montador certainly didn't look good last night, although most of the team didn't either. Personally I don't like either of them.

I agree here, OD needs to sit.

What was wrong with him last game? He wasn't on the ice for a single goal against, in fact he was a +1.

4 and 7 were victimized last game, pretty much on the ice for every goal.

that third line is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Why would you put Brunette with Olesz and Bolland?? Frolik-Olesz-Bolland, Bickel-Bolland-Olesz...anyone but Brunette who makes his entire line look like they are skating in quicksand once they get to the blue line.

I would do

Sharp-Toews-Olesz (hate on me all you want, Rusty and Toews played well together at camp)

Carcillo-Kane-Hossa

Bickell-Bolland-Frolik

Mayers-Kruger-Stalberg

Keith-Seabrook

Leddy-Hammer

Montador-Lepisto

Looks surprisingly good actually. Stalberg is right where he belongs on that lineup as well.

Who the **** cares, 2-7 back together, me likey. Personally, not not good at this game, but if I had to do lines I'd go

Sharp - Toews - Frolik

Carcillo - Kane - Hossa

Bickell- Bolland - Olesz

Stalberg-Kruger-Mayers

And yes I know I got some people out of position or whatever, but I think only on the bottom two lines, and I think only one guy. Olie?

Keith - Seabrook

Hammer - Leddy

Lepisto/Montador/O'Donnell (Any combo)

Good. Bickell DESERVES to sit. Guy has been fucking useless all season, and I'm glad the Hawks finally noticed. Brunette is going to kill our "shutdown" line with his complete inability to skate. Though, I'm betting our shutdown line changes, and Toews gets that duty with Bolland struggling and his line blown up. If Olesz is going to count against the cap, you might as well give him some games and see what the **** he can do. I don't agree with Lepisto in over Montador at all, but I'm glad Q finally pulled his fucking head out of his ass and fixed the defensive pairings. That's what the top 4 should have looked like all season. Seabrook and Hammer have just been getting worse and worse together as the season has gone on. They were fucking pathetic last night. Toews probably would have ended up in jail for murdering Q if he was forced to play with Stalberg and Brunette much longer.

That said, I don't expect Q to stick with these new lines more than a period if the Hawks come out slow tomorrow night. He's fucking OCD and simply cannot allow chemistry to develop between players.

By the way:

PP #1: Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp, Jonathan Toews, Andrew Brunette, Viktor Stalberg

PP #2: Duncan Keith or Nick Leddy, Dave Bolland, Patrick Kane, Daniel Carcillo, Marian Hossa

Really?

Obviously our coaching staff doesn't understand the concept of "one timers" and quick shots on the PP. That first PP unit is going to be fucking clown shoes.

About time Olesz gets a shot. I know he has been fighting an injury though.

I am fine with the lines in the article. It's worth a shot.

Although I am a Bickell fan he has been pretty bad lately so it's worth him sitting maybe to send a message.

The entire team better start playing more physical though...that's not just a Bickell issue. To single him out just because he is big isn't fair in my books. Yes he should be using that frame a lot more but the entire team needs to find some energy when it comes to the physical end of the game. Toews could use a physical wing man on his left or right. At the rate things have been going Toews will be injured sometime this month. He's carrying the entire physical play on the current line. Olesz isn't going to help that but it is still worth a line mix up regardless.
