I think they do the job against the preds then beat the rangers to confuse stupid..

My gutt says they do beat the preds on Tuesday. Not sure why i feel it but i do.

They can't even beat crappy teams in their own building let alone crappy ones on the road.

There's no way in Hades that they're beating the Preds in Nashville or the Rangers in New York, not if the standings have something to say about it. The Preds got a point out of their trip to Boston, something good teams do. The Rangers are one of the top teams in the league right now with their impressive play.

We can't even get a goal in Phoenix where the crowd was almost filled with Blackhawk fans! What does that tell you?

I know i know but i gotta call a win even though everything points at them losing. My gutters just tells me to bet on the hawks the next two. Much like going all in on a pair of twos...its dumb but sometimes you gotta do it

This team is going to lose the next two. Then, possibly beat Columbus. After that, they drop another five straight, and finally win again against Toronto. DOOOOMED.

Dare I say 11? Remember, we don't fare well against teams that play below us in the standings either....

It can't or shouldn't be THAT bad... I still have faith they'll beat Columbus at least...

Welcome back Rosh, how was it?

It was interesting and fun. Still need some days to process all that I saw and experienced. Was an excursion with a group of people from university. Visited Delhi, Agra, Vrindavan, Varanasi, Bodhgaya and Calcutta. Place is cheap, dirty, noisy and full of people, but despite the chaos the place has a weird charm to it. Could imagine returning there without having a tight schedule to follow, the place is not for schedule's.

How come nobody says anything about what's going on between the posts? Crawford goes from bad to terrible, as short a time as the end of last year I was comparing him to Schieder - that isn't even possible today. Too many years in the minors, developing??? Bad position to be in - goalies worth anything are not available this time of year - these two need to put a little fight into their game. UGLY!!

I have never been happy with the way goalies have been coached here.

Not since Tretiak.

Waite is a guy that can take a walk anyday now. You and Ton are the only ones that really have brought up the goalie coach. That's something that needs to be investigated more. I agree with both of you.

Never liked shitty goalies becoming goalie coaches either lol. Waite sucked..not sure how got an NHL coaching gig..better suited for bantam hockey.

Tretiak was a legendary goalie and a great coach.

I don't have any idea what Waite even does. He can take the bus out of town with the rest of this coaching staff as far as I'm concerned.

And in the last three games, you see what value Troy Brouwer added to this team. Even if he was inconsistent and always in Q's doghouse.

Talking about people who got traded isn't of any value or concern, although it may make some feel better. Clark Kent has to head for the phone REAL quick here. And Quenville isn't going any place, hope he's smart enough to pull a rabbit out of a hat soon AND make water run uphill.

It isn't who was traded, but the void that was left there. The fact that there is absolutely nobody on this team that will step up and dish out some punishment when their captain and best player, who is injured, is getting worked over, is pathetic. Patrick Sharp shouldn't be that guy, out there with a broken wrist. I've never seen Kane so much as grab somebody in a scrum, let alone get in somebody's face. Toews is getting worked over by Clowe and Thornton, and Hossa is standing there like a giant pussy. This team needs some balls, badly. I'm wondering if this core isn't poorly assembled, based on their playstyles and attitudes on the ice.Or, maybe it's the coach that has the reigns on that kind of play tightened too much.

Hey: Maybe it's the flu!!!! Anyway there only so much ice time for Scotty, JT will need to figure his play out himself. And European players mix it up? Not likely, last one I noticed was Peter Forsberg last century. All isn't lost yet though I kind of feel that last year's playoff scene could show up here again - an extended streak above .500 PLUS make up half of our losses on this road trip would be what's needed to rule out a repeat.

I can't see Q having too tight of a reign on that one. If he does then another reason he should be axed. If he didn't like that sort of shit I am sure he would have protested Carcillo being aquired and Mayers and Scott etc. I don't recall him ever stopping guys like Buff from dishing a few face shots (lol when Buff actually did) or Ladd mixing it up when guys were taking liberties or Eager etc etc.

Teams just soft Pez. Losing Carcilo wasn't a good thing even though he did it to himself. It's why I really pull for this team going after a guy like ruutu even though i know that's slim to none by the feel the negotiations are going with the Canes and he.

In his 7+ years while coaching the Blues, Q never had a problem playing the likes of Tony Twist, Kelly Chase, Reid Simpson, Reed Low, Tyson Nash, and Jamal Mayers. Granted it was pre-lockout but those Blues teams could be a nasty group.

Scott can take Bickells shift from here on out. If he's going to only play 5 minutes a game that's fine with me, not like Bickell has been much of a help out there.

The whole team took a dump that game and while the goalie haven't been the greatest, they also aren't the main problem. Get the team to play better defense as a group and you don't have to worry about giving up astronomical amount of goals a game.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I think what sucks is that my bro was at the phoenix game...and we got obliterated.

Ah well, he enjoys the sun.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of the team. We know that our guys are better on paper then they have been, but they're not even playing up to the sum of their parts. Flu? maybe...
