Honestly, I think the only reason they pulled Dr. Craw was to try to shake up the D...and for a moment it looked like the usual plan of changing the net minder *just* as the D was getting comfortable in front of him.

Nope. Same shit different netminder. And that's not pinning the blame on either. It's hard to make a stop when the opposition is making caroms off of our own D-men.

I think Nashville exploited the **** out of our weakness at Center and D, to their credit. While some players did well, I think as a whole the team should have come out with a little more attitude. Bollig kicking the snot out of Tootoo was good, but I think the team could have made a better statement for Keith. You could say the elbow was selfish but he just put down a ******-nozzle who tries to dish it out, but can't take it. It's analogous to killing the penalty for the player that takes an instgator for ragdolling the asshat who runs your star player.

Not that I am pinning that loss on Crow by any means, but does anyone else agree with me now that Q shouldn't play him that many games in a row? This has happened at least 4 times now this year. Q plays him 5 or 6 games in a row and he 'shits the bed' (even though I still don't think this was his 'fault').

I am thinking something similar--since it seems the team D gets comfortable and lax every 5-6 games, I think the goale toration should be somehting like 4 on, 2 off or the like to keep the skaters on their toes.

Very true. I ended those move helping days in college. You want help now, hire a moving company.

I moved my brother about 4 times, my other brother twice, and my sister twice before 13, then moved myself 3 times since. **** helping move.

The proof is there, I agree with you. Let's face it, Corey is no Jonathan Quick, Mikka Kiprusoff, or Pekka Rinne. He's a middle of the pack guy who can get as hot as anyone in the league at this point in his career, but during the season he needs games off. Lets just hope that hot streak comes during the Playoffs. We can't afford to start him only 5-6 games in a row, he needs all of them.

Last week Corey started 4 games in 6 days before starting against the Predators... why? The back-to-back situation was against Columbus/Vancouver. He could have had a rest there.

Q has been notorious for running bad rotations and tiring his goaltenders, all the way back to his St. Louis days, but in Colorado I'm pretty sure that was a big factor in his firing. If you don't have a top 5 goaltender, you need to be a bit smarter in your decisions. So many times this year Q started Crawford or Emery while I was scratching my head, only to pull them mid-way through the game.

change that to the team shits the bed, and I would agree, though you have to play your number 1 down the stretch. If Q switches to Emery as our number one, I'll be pissed. Not a single one of those goals were Crow.

I agree..i think that in our netminder situation a better solution would have been a tighter rotation. But I also agree with Rex in that it does seem that after awhile the skaters seem to get complacent in front of a specific netminder.

Going into next year, no matter if it's Craw/Emery, Craw/Hutton, Emery/Hutton, Or even Carruth/Simpson (unlikley, I know), I think it should be something like a 4-1 or a 4-2 rotation, and of course making allowances for a really hot goalie. At least that way they aren't run ragged and the Team D is not "comfortable" with the man manning the pipes.

glad we won, since we are going to be without Keith for a while.

Well I expected a loss. With five startes out, I mean come on name me a team with five starters out that can beat a talented trap team. **** radulev that cum eating money chasing will only play because now they have a shot prick! I wil not blam crawford for those goals, like mentioned those were some fucking lucky goals. One that stands out the most was the third goal, I mean holey christ, the puck touch three skates before going in. Morrison has to be the worest player picked up since karputzev as far as I recall. We need monti, toews back real soon.

They love to do that. The double skate tap deflection and the Seabs deflection just don't count against that goalie, imho. Corey is no Rinne, but he certainly doesn't suck and certainly isn't ready for 60+ games a year with rests at the wrong times. I wish Q would figure that out.

yeah, during second intermission Roenick said that Crawford should have had that double skate tap deflection. Said "Good goalies let the puck hit them, That's a goal Crawford has to have" What a fucking joke.
