Was an okay game for one with moments of complete boredom lol. Flames are horrible (there is zero life on that team). Iginla wave your no trade and allow that franchise to rebuild...go recharge your career you are lost in Calgary and you look like you flat out don't care anymore. Kipper you need to allow the back up to play more games.

With that said I liked what I saw from Sharp. He hasn't exactly been stellar lately. Emery was indeed the player of the game (sorry for jinxing you in chat). SO nice to see Seabs and Keith score. I thought Keith had a very good game. Hopefully this sparks the offense from the blueline a bit more.

2 bad teams out of the way. Waiting to see how we fare with these lines against harder teams. I have confidence. The Stalberg/Toews/Hossa line looks good. Even Sharp instead of Hossa looked good for the few shifts. Kane might be a little lost in this mix but for now lets keep it rolling. Kanes not going to be invisible without Hossa...trust me.

Well, a combination of both.

True but I think it's more the D. You keep them off the score board it puts way too much pressure on the forwards.

Last night and tonight the D was the Star of the game.

How Emery wasn't the #1 star of this game was assinine. He played better than Crawford has in his last five games or more.

Agreed, Emery played very well. Gave the team confidence and the D confidence to jump in offensively.

Good to see, lets hope Crow can give us a similar effort Sunday.

so super psyched about Scott finally getting more time per game plus more games. Wasn't just talk about him improving his skating and general skills in the offseason. Keep on keepin on, too Stalberg. Beauty from Hossa.

It was really nice to see Emery have a great game. I feel much more comfortable, (now), with him patrolling the blue paint, than I ever did with Turco. Pre-season, I wasn't too confident, but I am now. It looks like his new teammates are too.

Edmonton has lost two in a row (Bruins, Wings). Hope this plays with their heads a little (maybe we're not as good as we thought).

11 minutes last night, and almost 10 tonight. He's played well with the extra time. You were even slamming him a few games ago so knock if off? Sometimes I wonder if you remember what you type you type so much. LOL

It was a good move keeping him and allowing Salak to gain experience. I think I'd rather have Emery than Huet.

Who ever the idiots are selecting the "Star of the Game" should pull their head out of their ass or go watch fucking Golf.

He kept the Hawks in the game early, and allowed them to gain the lead and keep it.

Emery did play well tonight and the D finally arrived to help with the scoring.

I am still not overly confident in Emery. I think he really has a hard time moving side-to-side. That said, tonight was a great showing and did boost my confidence.

Scott played OK, I'd rather see Lepisto though.

I don't understand why Q has an obsession with the John Scotts and Matt Walkers of the world.

Against top end teams yes against teams like the BJ's and the Flames I have no issues with Scott being used. Give him his ice time, the players seem to like him and support him and hell I will admit the guy entertains me personally. Teams that are basement dwellers typically resort to some cheap shit. Might be no shock that we didn't see any real cheapness the last 2 games (may be a stretch on my part trying to find a correlation). I don't want to see him playing against top teams on their home ice though. Don't want the other coaches exploiting it.

So does he play Sunday? Oilers are a very fast team! They could have easily had a different out come in Detroit tonight.
