[A] Hawks Pluck Wings: CHI 2, DET 1

It means a shit load for this team to prove to themselves that they can win tight games again. This was a good win for the Hawks. Crossing fingers that wins like the last 2 are ones that really get the confidence going again.



Oduya is getting better and better game by game. He's adjusting well to the system here. Hope that keeps up.



One note...did Conroy today durring the game say Olsen was a fast skater? I swear I heard him say that. I like Olsen a lot but one thing he isn't is a fast skater. Conroy is an idiot and hes boring as shit. Eddies an idiot but I will take his energy over Conroys melancholy colour any day.

For starters its Konroyd and not Conroy. And you can have Olcyck; I would take just about anyone over him.

Looked a little precarious at times, but Emery did his job. The defense gave the puck away in their own zone too often and didn't clear it quick enough. PP looked shaky, seems like the guys are fumbling the pass receiving quite often. Too many penalties, but the PK was aggressive and made it difficult for the Wangs. Good win, now keep on trucking and beat those smug Blues.



Any reason Lepistö only got barely 6 minutes of icetime? Surely he could handle at least 10 minutes more? Q being Q, I guess.

We did fumble the puck a lot but the puck was bouncing horribly for both teams. I was at the game and it was SOFA KING HOT. In the building...heard a Wings fan bitching here at the airport about too many Hawks fans being there. Tables are a turning.

Tortorella has been playing him 7-8 minutes per game on the 4th line and he's really clicked with Rupp. Roughest line the Rangers can roll out is Scott-Boyle-Rupp...



Thought it was funny today after the Rangers won...



Lucic headshotted McDonagh and then proceeded to sucker punch him twice. After that scrum broke up and the Rangers poured over the boards to go celebrate behind Lundqvist's net... John Scott headed in the opposite direction into the 20 Bruins players and tried to fight Chara.



All this after Chara was talking shit to Scott in the 1st period after 3 fights happened and he said "you know where to find me"... well apparently he did after the game and you chicken shitted out pussy.

ahhh...ken daniels and mickey redmond. how i hate those homer fucks. mickey is like a god around my parts. yeah i had to watch the wings feed too. after that piece of shit franzen hit i almost muted the rest of the game.

I don't like that Detroit duo at all. I don't like Daniels voice, as it sounds smarmy and smug, and it's especially grating when the Wangs are so good most of the time. Mickey Redmond just sounds like a drunk homer from the 50s with all the "oh boy" exclamations and then he loves to complain. And the Wangs are the best team ever according to them and anything going against them is bloody murder.

Anyone know what set Keith off in that scrum? The Detroit announcers kept mentioning that "something" must have happened earlier but never showed it. Did they show it on the Chicago feed. The Hawks were clearly pissed at Filp.
