[A] Hawks Stymied By Quick: CHI 2, LAK 3

He slowed down, at no point does he come to a complete stop and the puck continues at a forward momentum the entire time. Either way, I agree that part of the game is stupid to begin with, the skills competition should be saved for the All-Star game.

I was probably more mad about keith than anything. He's better than he's playing. The effort on their 2nd goal was just flat out bad. I thought the PP generated some chances and for the building to boo them because it didn't score against the best PK in the Western Conference was just a little dumb.

Also one of the Hawks most physical games in a long time, they lost.

I thought it didn't matter if the player stops as long as the puck keeps moving forward?

Keith was brutal on that 4 on 1 as well. Just going for a couple skate instead of hussling back. Grant it could he have caught Voynov and disrupted the play? I don't know, could have been close. Would of known for sure if he wasn't coasting...

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
It seems to me that there were 2 glaring issues in this game:

1) The team refused to crash the net--even after Hossa and Kne proved it worked against Quick.

2) The D is *STILL* running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Exceptions are Seabs and at least 1 play by Hammer.

Other than that I'll take the point...may have not been our best game in recent memory but certainbly wasn't our worst.

And, at the risk of being disemboweled here...is there any way we can have Seabs keep the "A" when Toews comes back?

I'd be happy with stripping it off Keith.

I'd also be happy with stripping his minutes too right now.

That's why I said he was the prmary cause of both goals. He knew Seabrook was pinching on the first one. He was already back. That's why you don't make the pass he made. He's not playing smart. At all.

His head is in the fucking clouds. You have one guy back with the other team scrambling, and try a cross-ice pass through traffic, with four Hawks attacking? Put the fucking puck in deep or on net, idiot. Second goal was no better on his part, but pretty much every player on the ice fucked up the coverage on that goal. Brunette is down below the hash marks, not covering anyone. Kane is also down there, not covering anyone. Keith and Leddy with the fucking shit show... Just brutally bad defensive awareness.

Keith and Seabrook both. Keith continues to make idiotic decisions with the puck and Sebrook continues to be a pylon night in and night out.

Do you have any clue night in and night out?
