He's raised over $4 mil. Dude could just hire a few folks to help him out.

Well if he has the manufacturing/production squared away then yeah. Otherwise he is fucked and won't be able to deliver for months if ever. Too much business kills companies too (if you aren't prepared).

That shit would be awesome for tailgating. I'm with Brett though, price is high, though it's to be expected in the beginning with everything attached. I imagine the price will come down immensely if it ever gets off the ground floor and into stores. Honestly, with all that, I'd probably pay $100.

$5,557,830 so far, with 43 days left.

A giant LOL at anybody that thinks tooling costs or colors are going to be a problem.

He's sold 26,000 so far. Try to keep in mind $100 for a blender, Bluetooth speaker, USB device charger, and a cooler might not be very realistic.

Just a cooler $80 sounds about right. $100 for all that stuff? Do you guys buy used appliances? WTF?

Just a regular 48 quart (normal size) coleman cooler is about $30. Where are you getting $80?

Id rather have something that does its intended use well. Not something that performs 32.5 tasks, poorly.

I'll stick with my Yeti.

So you think it can't keep things cold for a period of time?

Good question, how long will things stay cold?

Judging by it's appearance, I'd say its got the cooler basics down. It's an enclosure made out of, what seems to be, sturdy material. I'm more interested in how much it holds. I'm assuming it's about a normal size cooler.

I'm sure it can. But, if I can buy things that I won't ever have to buy again I will..(all-clad, snap-on, and so on)

I'm confident it's not going to do that....and for the price you can buy something that will (pelican/yeti)

Great point. Let's say they through in the cooler for free. Find a Bluetooth speaker, USB device charger, and a blender for $100. Now put them together, make it waterproof, with it's own power source, and on wheels.

To compare this with a $30 Walmart plastic box makes no sense. Look below at SERE's post, he explains the need for this product. The sales numbers are also a strong indication that a market exists.

This is not a product for the backyard like a standard Coleman. Does everyone go to tailgates, the beach, or picnics? Nope, but so far 27,000 people do (it went up another 1,000 overnight).

Last weekend we were at the beach and i was using the cooler as a table by my chair. Every time I had to get into it I had to remove my speaker, phone and cup. Also I had to take my phone to the car to recharge after streaming music to the speaker for 3 hours. Plus I hate the handle and wheels on my cooler and would prefer the positioning of these instead. I would have loved to have this thing instead. My wife would use the blender and she is always bringing a cutting board/knife for cutting fruit.

Sure it would be better if it was bigger but As it is I still want one.

This thing would be way too small for my needs. I read the description for another 16 quart cooler and it said that it can hold 19 cans or two 2-liter bottles upright. So if you only put say 10-12 cans in there, that doesn’t leave a lot of room for food or even ice.

I have a 40 quart electric cooler that I use sometimes for camping and even that can be a bit too small. I only paid like $40 for it though.

I also have a regular 40 quart wheeled cooler that has a retractable handle, and split top lid. Only paid around $30 for that one. I can get speakers separately and I don’t really have a need for a blender. I don’t even use one at home.
