I am hoping people can see the difference between Nagy and Trestman......

I think it was someone here that said they didn't like Nagy because he was nerdy like Trestman.....Nagy presence is significantly better than Trestman and I think Trestman lost his guys with the locker room touchy feelie antics.....

Yeah...Nagy was able to retain the current defensive staff and Trestman was not.

(Strange how that was the plan for both hires though)

That aside...give me an Andy Reid guy over just about anyone else. Makes me thrilled Pace did not panic and try to keep that bum Adam Gase. Really liked the hire from Day One and I think it is waaaay too early for this thread.

I am also kind of insulted by the dismissal of Lovie Smith. I remember the Ditka days and I am still giving Lovie best HC in my memory. Matt Nagy could give him a run, but no way am I ranking him after four games.

Watching KC yesterday showed me how Nagy built a complete clone of that team on offense.. which isn't a bad thing.

Just as KC punishes people underneath with Kelce, Hill and Hunt, the Bears have similar fast twitch players in Burton, Gabriel and Cohen.

It is a little early to crown him as the Bears defense is what is getting the job done. But agreed, things look good so far in that we have an innovative offensive system that is proven to work.

I'm just glad the Bears didn't hire some of these Patriots coordinators that some of people here wanted.

One last strange note...that was also the plan for Mike Ditka.

It's almost as if it is a thing.

KC has better offensive players......we are KC lite on offense......

Defense is a completely different beast....they are terrible on defense

Jim Dooley was pretty innovative for his era but didn't pan out. I was a busboy at a steakhouse Abe Gibron used to dine at. He was very nice but a terrible coach.

If only the fucking Packers hadn’t murdered McMahon in 86. Papa Bear should have let those ******* go bankrupt when he had the chance.

Lmao all Halas did was encourage people in GB to raise funds for a new stadium. Nothing more.

Curly Lambeau on the other hand, literally GAVE the Bears the money to meet payroll. Lul.

Your welcome for saving your franchise, honestly, it was a good investment.

Your'e one dropped interception from being 1-2-1. And we are one dropped interception from being 4-0. Can't wait for Erin to come to Chicago. Kahlil said he is hungry.

Lol that is a double digit win for us had Kizer not handed you a 14 point, 10 point at minimum, swing.

Yea, im so scared of Mack, the guy who couldnt get a hand on an immobile Rodgers week 1..... lul.

24 points against your D in his last 4 drives alone? Yea, not worried. We also have our best RB active now.

But just an fyi, that dropped INT was only a thing because of the blatant, obvious PI on Adams that took him off his feet and out of the play.

Wow! Our offense is ranked in the bottom quarter in so many items.
We've had problems beating the weak Seahawks and Cardinals and we're thinking Nagy is one of the top coaches?

Our inability to score against the Pack when they made some simple half time adjustments and yet we're thinking Nagy is a top notch coach.
I prefer to wait until I see some tangible results where he out coaches a good team in the second half.

Yes, I'm hoping that he's a great coach, but so far we've had one great half against GB and one terrific game against a poor team.
Other than that, it's close to a draw.

When our offense can consistently score 25 or more points in a game (not based on our D getting turnovers and TDs) then I think we're on to something.
