Its been a little over 1 year since the potential merge between CCS and IHN.

Last year, I explained that my time would be very limited around IndianHeadNation and I encouraged the website to keep growing by presenting a merge with CCS. With mixed reviews, the merge was eventually shot down by the community vote and here we are today.

IndianHeadNation began in 2008. We grew over the years, and built a great community full of Hawks fans from the USA, to Canada, to Finland. All over the world, Blackhawks fans came to IHN. We averaged about 5,000 posts per month from 2010 to 2013, our best month coming in July of 2010 (8,339 posts)... the year the Blackhawks won their first modern era Cup. We had millions of views every year since we began. Millions.

We converted a small portion of these viewers into very active posters. And that was all we needed, it was truly the driving force that kept IHN as one of the top communities for Blackhawks fans. So remember something: The atmosphere here was created by you, and all IHN did was allow you a place to do so. It's not about the name of the website, or even about me, or the staff.

Fast forward to today. Without a constant flow of new visitors every day, the growth has become stagnant. I take full responsibility for that.

I encourage everyone that cared about IHN to come back and participate. This place can be as active as it has been in the past. The question is, how long will it last without a constant flow?

Fortunately, the solution is still an option, which is why I am holding another vote for the merge. With the proper attention, and flow of new visitors, IHN can return to the glory days of 2010-2013. CCS can help with that. Lets do the right thing. Thank you for your time and patience.
