Wow "Wings in 7" is getting near Dany!!!

18-0 in favor of merging. Let's just get it done. It is unanimous. I didn't even know 18 people still checked these boards.

If (hopefully when, now seeing the vote) this goes through, I'll be looking into merging this database into our current one. So no posts/threads/usernames, etc. are lost. You will log into CCS as normal, as you would here.

Right now, the vote is 21 Yes to 0 no's.

I think it's fair to say everyone who cares is ready for the move and merge and has voted.

After wanting to stay here and not merge a year ago, it seems we are best off with the merge, so let's get it rolling.

I've been posting over there today. Samurai joined me as well.

The Hawks posters are such fuckin noobs.

One guy thinks the Hawks played Rask in the finals last year.

Still a lot more active than here.

Are we supposed to register over there or will our accounts just transfer over?

A great gesture by our technical admin, he mirrored some of the theme. It's not 100% yet but very close. Starting the execution with Ton!

Looks good man, excited for the merger!

A few of us have registered and been posting already. Should those accounts be deleted if everything is being transferred over anyways?

I think that is something we'll come to find out when we import the database. I'll be around with a full focus on making sure everybody's accounts are in order and correct.

What's the time table you guys are thinking before everything is setup?

I can imagine most of the work could be done as soon as possible, probably no more than a couple days.

Everything should be able to be transferred over for the most part, but there are small differences. We use Invision Power here, where CCS is powered by vBulletin, which is also a fantastic platform for a message board, but can have its differences so take that into account.

The domain will redirect to the Blackhawks forum in CCS. So you can continue to type in indianheadnation.com and get there if that is easier for some.

I'm just waiting to hear back from Rush, we'll be scheduling a call soon to continue with the process. So as soon as that happens, we'll be able to get the ball rolling.

I, of course, will still be involved, albeit in a smaller/more manageable capacity.

As far as support for HASB, and the IceHogs photos by Kris Gray, these are all things that I've talked about with Rush and will be fully supported by CCS, which was important to me and I would imagine was important to most of us.
