The only way the Cubs win a championship is when they move out of shitty cursed Wrigley Field and build a new stadium which might never happen since Cubs fans don't want maybe a new stadium in 100 years? :dunno:

Going the bobcats route? We're not trading any core members! More importantly, we're loosing two guys that we were going to loose anyway! If anything, we'd be going the david robinson Tim duncan route. Obviously, there's no guarantee that we get a duncan or that we even get a decent draft pick, but really what are we loosing here?

Not sure if you guys are aware of this. Rip and boozer are role players. Also, Rip is 34 this year. He's going to be 35 next year. If his injury history holds up, we're not missing too much. More importantly, what do you expect out of a 35 year old sg next season? Is it enough to propel you to/through the playoffs?

Amnestying boozer is the only thing I'm on the fence about. Deng, Boozer, taj, and Noah are just too good to be anything but a 30-40 win team. Ironically, the board seems to support keeping boozer more than I would. Boozer's offense is significantly better than you guys are giving him credit for. He's the best bulls big to finnish around the rim this season.

I hope i'm not asking too much, but before answering, it might be best to put your thinking caps on.

Rip has no injury history except for this shortened fucked up season and breaking his nose twice back in 04.

Nobody supports keeping Boozer. It's just the amnesty part which is stupid.

Cubs fans care more about Wrigly Field than a championship.
The Sox will win a lot more championships before the Cubs do.

The Bulls will shut all of you up and win the Championship this year.
You just watch.....mark my word.......We were playing championship basketball without Rose earlier and we will cintinue to........I never lie.......so everyone stop whining.........The buck don't stop here...All the Bulls have to do is win 15 more games.....I'm pretty sure the Bulls can stay above 500 without Rose.....And we have homecourt all the way.
C.J Watson is capable of making It happen in Rose's place.

No way. We can still win games with the team we have. If anything, we can make a couple adjustments in order to pick up a good point guard, but nothing more than that.

I do. Because it is utterly pointless to amnesty him. For 1) he is producing & doing it consistently. He has more 20+ games this season than last. He's also having one of the best shooting seasons of his career. 2) It does absolutely nothing for you. We are a LT team next season people. Cutting Boozer does not free up cap space. And you are not going to find a PF of his caliber, who is perfectly fine with being a 3rd or even 4th option at times & is subbed out in the 4th for defensive purposes. Boozer can still be a focal point of the offense & play very well when given more opportunities to score. He's proved it several times this season.

While I do think we need to start thinking about the future, this plan is just a horrible idea that does nothing to improve the team. And we still have I would say the 4th best team in the NBA even with Rose out. So tanking is absolutely not an option at all & never would be with the coach & players currently on the roster.

we're not cutting boozer....its just stupid....like diddy said its gives us no cap room we'd just be cutting a guy that can go off for 20+ any night for nothing

you may think hes overpayed...but oh well...hes here, hes staying, deal with it

How do you think Knicks fans view Amare? Injured constantly, bitching & moaning internally about his role, & playing lackluster because of it until he's had enough & punches thru a glass casing during the playoffs. And let's not forget he makes like $30mill more than Booz while averaging a measely 2 points more per.

We actually have a productive PF, who's been healthy all season, loves his role, loves his teammates & coach, & never once complained when the entire fanbase & media turned their back on him after basically his first month in a Bulls uni. I think it's high time that fans start respecting this dude for what he's bringing to the table.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks

20+ what? Points? That's false. He had 15 20+ games this season.. he had 22 last season... and he's played more games this season.
