The Blackhawks that controlled play and the puck for the majority of the last 10 monutes of the 3rd looked like the 09-10 Blackhawks, minus the hiccup in the dying seconds. They seemed to take the physical game and give it back to the Rangers, knocked them on their heels and gave them the lead. Great team game and win.

Hayes needs to play more. Right before the tying goal he came out and took the body in the Rangers zone and got some energy back in the building. Reminded me of what Burish used to do except Hayes is a way better offensive player.

Can we try Hayes with Kane and Hossa tonight?

Ohh, that would be worth watching. The more I think of it the more I like it.

Bollig has brought something to this team as well. In fact when you look at the callups from the Rock I would think that many of the success' post All Star are directly attributed to callups.

I've wanted Hayes on the top 2 lines ever since he was called up. Q loves Brunette too much.

I think you are right icehog. Those kids have brought in a nice energy. They make rookie mistakes but thats a fair trade off. The older guys like brunnette are done. If this were a clutch and grab league still guys like brunnette would have a larger space and more production.

I like maidens idea. I like it a lot.

Me, too. I was at the game Friday (first one for me this season), and it was great watching the youngsters like Shaw and Hayes light some fires.
